RAMPANT CORRUPTION CANNOT BE WIPED OUT JUST LIKE THAT

15 Jul

POWERFUL BUT VERY CORRUPT:

It is believed that by the year 2025 AD China, India and Brazil shall become very powerful. The power of America, European Union, Japan and Russia shall diminish. Despite this USA will top, followed by china and 3rd spot shall belong to India. This observation has been given by ‘Institute for Securities Studies’ in the report titled ‘Global Governance-2025’. This news is very potent and full of hope. Progress in the communication industry, a large number of people in the Skilled Task Force etc are paving the way for our gigantic economic progress. Since labor charge is very less over here, labor is very cheap in India. Multinational companies hence are blooming here. Indians are hard working, self dependent but yet since poverty, inequality and corruption are rampant will this dream of super power status get realized? Daily new statistics regarding black money force us to ponder whether this journey shall reach its desired destination?

EVERY 3rd PERSON IS CORRUPT:

An institute called ‘Transparency International’ ceaselessly monitors corruption the world over. Amongst top 10 corrupt countries of the world India stands at 3rd spot. According to this institution every 3rd person of India is corrupt. They always bribe to get their work done. Corruption has entered the very blood of Indian citizens. Corruption is verily a social taint. Why is it that it has become a status symbol? Today a corrupt person walks arrogantly with head held high. Previously such people walked with heads down in shame. Citizens of India who hope to become an economic super power fail to understand that their nation is becoming brittle and hollow because of blatant corruption. It appears as though it has been full accepted at the social level as a way of life. According to this institute even today 20% of Indians who listen to the call of their conscience live lives of ethics and integrity. 30% are totally immersed in corrupt practice and the remaining stand on its precipice. ‘The more one is wealthy, the more one is honored-this belief that has developed in the past 2 decades is in its true sense a shame and taint on our country.

IS THIS THEN THE SOLUTION?

It will not be correct to write again and again statistics regarding this topic as quoted by Anna Hazare and his related organization ‘India Against Corruption’ and Baba Ramdev’s ‘Bharat Swabhiman Trust’ yet it is important to draw our attention to some important points. We may keep shouting ‘bring back black money hoarded in alien countries’ yet this movement shall not get fulfilled till the very thinking process of our governing bodies transform positively. It is no use if every lay person does not get awakened. When every citizen thinks about welfare of its country, that very wealthy country too shall work for people’s well being.

A BIRD’S EYE VEW:

Let us first delve deep into as to why such a situation manifested at all?

  1. a) After economic reforms were ushered in India in 1991 AD people started eking out more income and thus started immersing in sense merriment. It was not as if previous to this black money was not hoarded yet it is only in the past about 15 years that a naked showcasing of sense pleasures and vain pomp has augmented manifold. Where did all this money come from? Hard work, fixed monthly income from jobs, agriculture cannot reap so much cash. For this end short cuts were taken and slowly people started becoming nouveau riche.
  2. b) By joining the government and thus by moving in cars with red/yellow lights one can lead a grand exotic life-this belief has increased in society. Corrupt practices of government and their officers are rising swiftly. Not a few millions but billions of cash is eked out via corruption. No doubt many cases were filed against them in courts but these cases never moved ahead. How can a government’s agency work against officials of the government itself? If one’s own paramour is a police officer whom shall one get scared of? More than 3000 such corrupt officials are leading serene lives. They run their families using ill gotten wealth and arrogantly laughing aloud at others. Nothing much happens even if one or two corrupt ministers get imprisoned. We must unearth that well which contains water mixed with alcohol of corruption and drinking which every addict jumps into the bandwagon of corruption.
  3. c) A majority of people have given up hopes from getting true justice from the judicial system in India. Leaving apart the apex court majority of Indians opine that gaining justice is full of expenses, woven with corruption and full of delays. Regarding judicial reforms a survey was done on about 100,000 citizens of 9 states. 75% of the people bluntly said that they have no faith in justice meted out by courts of laws. Court cases get prolonged for years simply by bribing court officials and thus delaying the whole justice process. Everyone wants judicial reforms. Our Supreme Court made a very fiery observation regarding a High Court saying: Doesn’t everyone know that majority of the judges in your court are corrupt?
  4. d) Income Tax, Sales Tax, Excise and RTO Departments are believed to be extremely corrupt. There is a lot of competition to get enlisted in these departments. These are said to be jobs full of ‘creamy butter’. Majority of lawyers have become wealthy in the past 2 decades by fighting court cases of officials attached to the above departments.
  5. e) Revered Gurudeva Shriram Sharma opined that shirking work is the biggest crime. This exactly is the observation made in a very recent report put forth by ‘Institute of Defense Studies and Analysis’. They write that remaining absent in offices and shirking work is a silent mode of corruption which is eating up India like termites eat up wood. This institute opines that misusing public offices and posts for personal gains is definitely a form of corruption.
  6. f) Many government agencies like Election Commission, CAG, CVC etc are supposed to help obstruct corruption yet dirty politics have entered their very foundation. 75% companies in India due to corporate corruption have to shoulder millions of rupees of loss. Our country India has powerful laws, government is elected and there is a potent democracy yet corruption breeds like flies here. This is because all of above mentioned are involved in it.

DOES IT LOOK AS THOUGH TRANSFORMATION SHALL UHER IN?

We certainly do not know what shall be the result of Shri Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev’s hunger strike. It is not so important to know what is happening in New Delhi but what is noteworthy is that whether every individual realizes his/her responsibility or not. As long as we refuse to reform ourselves governance will persist as is seen today and that it shall get worse day after day. Instead of harboring hopes in the political system citizen’s awakening must be directed towards self reform and spiritual evolution. When we all measure our self and soul not on the basis of how much material wealth we possess but how righteous are we in carrying out world welfare duties like cogs in a wheel, then material wealth shall no longer become the be all and end all of life as is seen today. For this end the largest democracy of the world in the next 5 years shall have to undergo a fiery test. Merely by enacting the Jan Lokpal Bill, recalling black wealth stashed away in alien countries and changing the form of currencies shall not bring about a much required total transformation. If at all it sets in it will be due to a desired transformation of the psyche and thinking process. The winds of change shall definitely appear if agitations are carried out against corrupt people in various arenas of life, expensive weddings/parties full of pomp etc.

THUS WE SHALL GET LIBERATED FROM TAINTS:

It is only our spiritual advancement that shall help absolve us from the taints of corruption. Thus not only shall we understand the pain of urban but rural population too. Schemes of their all round advancement shall harbinger in via village self rule. In order to uproot corruption we shall have to travel to every district and village instead of visiting air conditioned offices of our capital New Delhi. We must alert and awaken our people. We must help them understand their duties towards their country. Every lay citizen can definitely do this much. We must commence this task ourselves and with our family members and thus if render this aim mobile in entire society the demon called corruption shall easily be defeated once and for ever. This is in fact a type of wine that renders us inebriated. If hence we wish to save ourselves from its dizziness we must become a part of the Thought Revolution floated by Yug Nirman Mission. Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma proclaimed: ‘Corruption can only be wiped out by reforming ourselves first’; ‘If we change, this era shall change’. Thus the onus lies on us to take up this great gigantic responsibility. Instead of finding out what is happening in New Delhi if 10,000,000 people keep an eye on 100 people in their vicinity and help advance a system to awaken them then till 2020 AD India can become a clean, ethical and spiritual country. Hence the million dollar question is: Are we ready to shoulder this great responsibility?

THE POTENT PERSONALITY OF THE SUBTLE BODY

18 May

Majority of world humanity accept things, events etc only if they can be perceived by the 5 gross senses (ear, eye, nose, tongue, skin). Hence when they undergo miraculous incidences as mentioned previously they realize unfailingly that there exist those experiences which are beyond the limited ken of human imagination. Thus they too start accepting that within the deep cave of man’s soul lie potent powers which are albeit latent as of now and that they are subtly conjoined to the Divine Cosmic Consciousness called God by laymen. When those rare human beings contact this Cosmic Consciousness with the help of a sacred/focused psyche he/she starts manifesting Divine Powers that can be tangibly experienced by others. As mentioned previously when the Italian priest Ligadri awakened from his deep trance others present were simply wonderstruck! It goes without saying that the underlying principle of this inner conscious state cannot be explained on the basis of the scientific laws unearthed by great modern scientists at this point in time.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/five_vital_forces_five_divine_principles.htm

Today man executes various bodily and professional functions with the help of his ordinary gross conscious power. This is very much in the realm of the 5 gross sense organs. Beyond this gross state lies a subtle state of consciousness (subtle body) which is infinitely more powerful than our sense organ perception. With the help of the subtle body we can create apt situations and transformations in the subtle world. Just as the potency of the subtle world is infinitely more than that of the gross world so too is the case with their power and energy manifestation; meaning, that subtle powers are much more potent than gross powers. Not only are they as speedy as the movement of man’s thoughts but they help us pin point the unknown invisible world along with unknown invisible & subtle objects. The powers of the subtle body conjoined to the subtle world are so far known very barely. And yet the data based proof of these on unearthing show that they are no less miraculous. It further proves that within man’s psyche lies an infinite storehouse of Divine Powers/Potentials albeit in a latent state; meaning they need to be awakened.

Following is an incident that took place in Ireland. Over here lived a married couple called Butler. Almost daily Mrs. Butler saw a building in a vivid dream at night and it was surrounded by gardens all around. In this dream she would whirl around in the building. Not only was Mrs. Butler well versed with the external architecture of the building but she knew every nook and corner of its interiors too. Daily she would talk about this dream based building to her family and friends. Despite this her family etc would take all this as a big joke and topic of humor.

One day the Butlers had to leave for London. There they started looking for a good place for residing. While they were driving in their car Mrs. Butler was amazed to see one particular building. She told her husband: This is the very building I see in my dreams daily.

Now even her husband was rightly curious. He stopped the car. They enquired about this building and were later told that it is vacant and up for sale. Mrs. Butler opined: If we buy this house it will be great for our future.

The Butlers met an agent and told him about their interest in buying that building. The agent explained: It is best you do not buy that building. I will show you much better places of residence. See here are their details. Choose any one of them and we can seal the deal. But please do not go in for the building you just spoke of. This is because the building is visited by ghosts.

And yet for Mrs. Butler this particular building was very close to her soul. She insisted on buying that house. Hence the agent led her to the building’s landlord. But when the landlord saw her the he ran away crying aloud: Ghost! Ghost!

Since the agent was from the same city he knew the landlord very well. Hence the agent went to meet the landlord. There he saw the latter shivering with fright. All the family members of the landlord too had now gathered there. They had no clue as to what was the problem. The agent told him that the Butlers had come to buy the house. The agent explained that the Butlers were working in a particular company and that they certainly were not “ghosts”! Now the landlord spoke: We had to leave that house and come here. Of course! We preferred to reside in our previous house. The present house we had taken on rent only but we stay here because in the house we own appeared a female ghost who would whirl round and round frighteningly! My family members were scared merely on listening to her dance like loud foot steps. From afar they had seen this lady ghost barely a couple of times and felt that she was just aimlessly roaming around in our house. I personally tried to see this ghost clearly. Since I saw her again and again I am sure how this female ghost looks. I am sure it was your self Mrs. Butler! Initially I tried speaking to you because there was not much that could frighten me. No doubt I was dumbstruck as to how you entered my locked house at night. I thought of reprimanding you but whenever I said something it just did not register in your ears. It appeared as though you could not hear anything. Thus I became very scared. Henceforth whenever you reappeared we saw it as a sign of danger. Before you could (in your ghost form) attack us we thought it prudent to leave that house and live in this present rented one.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/five_vital_forces_five_divine_principles.htm

Mrs. Butler was simply amazed to hear all this! She said: I definitely saw your home in my dream and yet could not fathom the reason behind that dream vision. Now the fear in the landlord’s psyche disappeared but a new problem arose. He strongly felt that there was some mysterious connection between his house and Mrs. Butler. Hence he sold his house to Mrs. Butler charging a very minimal sum.

A similar event took place in the lives of 2 American citizens in 1963 A.D. One was called Tet and the other was Wilmut. They were travelling by ship. Midway in the ocean their ship had to face a deadly storm. The ship swayed perilously. Wilmut was fast asleep while Tet was seated.

Suddenly Tet was dumbstruck. Their cabin door was locked and yet he saw a female standing at the door wearing a gown. Tet saw in amazement that the lady was serene and a bit embarrassed. Hence he was not so scared enough to shout aloud. Tet silently gazed at this intruder.

Slowly this woman wearing a gown walked towards the sleeping Wilmut. She was a bit flustered with Tet’s presence. She passed a loving hand on Wilmut’s scalp and said something which Wilmut failed to hear. Suddenly she walked back to the door. From there she disappeared completely! Even now their cabin door was locked from inside. Tet stared at the door wide eyed in sheer wonderment.

As soon as that woman intruder vanished Wilmut got up from sleep looking a bit flustered. He had apparently seen a dream wherein his wife came to him. His dream wife lovingly placed her hand on his scalp and said something which Wilmut failed to understand. Immediately he woke up and saw Tet seated in the cabin. Tet described what had happened while Wilmut was dreaming. Wilmut exclaimed: This is exactly what I saw in my dream! Realizing that what Tet had actually seen was dreamt by him self, Wilmut said to him self: Definitely this incident has a deep import. It could be that my wife (far away from him) was ill.

Until Wilmut managed to reach home he was full of worry. As soon as he reached home he saw his wife attending to the daily chores very serenely. Later Wilmut spoke to his wife about that strange dream and incident which took place on the ship. His wife replied: On that very fateful night I heard news on the radio that a great storm was raging in the Atlantic Ocean. This set me worrying about your safety. All the while I thought about you and by and by I went to sleep. While dreaming I cannot decipher how but I entered a ship which was traveling midway in the ocean. In one cabin of the ship I saw you sleeping. In this cabin I saw one more person but he was awake unlike you who were sleeping. I was a bit apprehensive to see this other man. And yet I stood by your bedside and lovingly placed my hand on your head. I asked you about your well being. Immediately I woke up from my dream in our house. Now Wilmut was absolutely astounded because his wife’s dream, his own dream on the ship and the scene witnessed by his friend Tet on the ship were absolutely identical.

The above incidents definitely tell us that mere superficial curiosity is not enough. The need of the hour is to delve deep into its intricacies. Assuming that these incidences were the result of transport of thought waves we could label them under the category of ‘Telepathy’. And yet it is clear that the above events are much more subtle than telepathy. This is because in this case not only thoughts but the very inner personality/psyche of individuals had crossed all national borders so as to travel in mid ocean. Later like a ‘word-arrow’ it had returned too. Just as birds leave their nest for far off places and then return to it so too the psyche/personality too reached a far off place and an individual there. After the mission was completed the psyche left the ship to return to its far off home away from the Atlantic Ocean.

The above activity cannot be executed via the known principles of the gross material world and their methods. The physical body of Wilmut’s wife was very much in America and it was only her inner personality/psyche that had traveled to the ship sailing midway in the Atlantic Ocean. The same holds true for Mrs. Butler’s experience where her physical body was in one place and that her subtle psychic body traveled to a far off place. The gross body in one place and the subtle body traveling to a far off place were identical as far as their form and appearance were concerned. Thus it is crystal clear that the above incidences have to be attributed to the great potential of our subtle bodies and it in turn follows laws of the subtle world (Sookshma Jagat).

http://www.shriramsharma.com/five_vital_forces_five_divine_principles.htm

Thousands of years back great Indian Seers (Rishi/Munis) were well aware of this great divine potential (latent) in every human being’s soul. They have elucidated these divine potentials and energies in great detail. Further they have thrown light on how to activate these Divine Powers too. As an exception some rare world individuals manifest these Divine Potentials with fair ease simply because in their past lives they had accumulated them with painstaking efforts. In some other cases loving divine grace from a great realized saint can activate these powers in a devotee whose psyche is spiritually ripe and mature. Else for the rest they must execute spiritual practices like Yoga, meditation, devotion etc to activate these latent Divine Powers. Of course those rare individuals who activate these powers relatively swiftly due to grace are not well documented and hence lesser known. A point to be noted is that these rare souls are generally unaware of how to utilize these Divine Powers for welfare of the world. As against these individuals an aspirant of Yoga who makes due spiritual efforts to activate these latent powers is much more capable of utilizing them for world welfare at will. This is because Yoga aspirants are very much in contact with subtle divine centers that manifest Divine Powers in man’s psyche sacred and focused psyche.

In Tantra Science (of Indian origin) spiritual practices pertaining to a “Chhaya-Purusha” (shadow man) has been described minutely. This “shadow man” is a subtle bodied living being and is part and parcel of every individual. When we activate this “shadow man” we are actually manifesting one more subtle body whom we can direct to act in a particular manner; meaning this “shadow man” on activation is always at our beck and call. It is like a living ghost and has Extra Sensory Potentials (ESP) like any ghost. A great Yogi has that excellent capacity of carrying out varying tasks simultaneously with the help of his/her activated subtle body. Without exception every world denizen possesses this all powerful subtle body and yet it remains latent because not all of have that giant capacity to activate it. Those exceptionally gifted individuals who manage to work hard in activating Divine Powers not only become masters of this “shadow man” but become knower of the divine laws of the subtle world too. In addition to all this their intellectual and sensitive/sentimental (Bhava) potentials of the mind too become limitless. No longer will their thinking be narrow-minded. Instead their sacred mission becomes creation of “A BEAUTIFUL BORDERLESS WORLD”.

Today latest modern scientific research too is slowly but surely proving the existence of a subtle body apart from the gross body made up of bones, flesh, blood etc. Right from the year 1963 A.D. Modern science has carried out successful research studies and experiments in this direction. A Western electron microscope specialist called Samyon Kirliyan with the help of his scientist wife Valentina invented a special photography technique. This scientific apparatus helped photograph subtle vibrations around all living beings and also their bodily energy based activities.

In another experiment the Kirliyan couple took a photograph of an ill lady. It was seen that the aura of light particles was quite withered and very soon it disappeared. In one more research study the Kirliyan couple photographed every bodily part of a male. Close up photographs of the neck, heart and stomach area depicted very subtle ‘blots’. The latter were nothing but electrical energy emitted from those bodily parts. These shadow pictures were studied scientifically and after that it was concluded unanimously that every creature/living being possesses 2 bodies. The first one is seen by our gross eyes and is the physical body made of flesh, blood etc. The second is the subtle body which has all potentials of the gross body but cannot be seen by our gross eyes. Modern day scientists opine that the subtle body comprises of those subtle principles which in comparison to the speed of movement of the electrons of the gross body moves infinitely more swiftly. Scientists proclaim that this subtle body of any creature can separate itself from its gross body and move about anywhere in the world.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/five_vital_forces_five_divine_principles.htm

Apart from Russia great scientists of USA too are conducting a lot of research in this area. State University of New York has actually opened a separate department for Parapsychology research studies and its head is Dr. Robert Bafer. A major class of world humanity believes only what their gross eyes perceive in this material world of name and form and hence spend their entire precious lives in merely amassing material wealth and comforts so as to attain joy. They fail to realize that if only they pay due heed to the existence of their subtle body so as to nourish and awaken it, so much more can be gained in life which would be labeled nothing short of an extraordinary miracle. This is because now man will not only augment his material life but will aptly nourish his spiritual life so as to lead a life of overall prosperity. Indian Spirituality has already taken giant steps in this area. It goes without saying that ancient India which thrived on citizens with pure taintless characters was but the result of laying great emphasis on deep spiritual and human values (integrity, commitment, loyalty, sense of world well being etc.).

LIBERATION FROM MATERIAL BONDAGE VIA A SPIRITUAL VISION

HOW ARE MATERIAL OBJECTS REAL DESPITE US SEEING THEM DIRECTLY WITH OUR GROSS EYES

An important question to be dealt with is: Is what we see, understand and experience with our 5 senses true in the absolute sense? At the gross level the immediate answer will be in the affirmative. This is because there is no reason to say that things perceived, seen by us are illusory. We are so dependent on the dictates of our sense organs and mind that we think that objects, individuals and circumstances are absolutely true. And yet if we delve deep into this question the answer is that the so called proof of reality of objects given by our sense organs is unfulfilled and illusory in nature.

Various scriptural scholars since time immemorial have advised us all not to believe our sense organs that say that our daily experiences are true and instead maintain that we should develop a spiritual vision. If we insist on accepting that all that we see and experience is the ultimate truth we sure will face many uncomfortable situations. This can be proved by the ancient example of the proverbial deer running after a mirage in the dessert in order to quench its thirst. In desserts like Sahara etc travelers have often come across mirages which from a distance look like a pond of water. A thirsty deer in a dessert runs after this mirage to quench its thirst. The eyes of the deer tells it that there is water at a few furlongs away but the more the deer tries to reach this ‘pond’ the more the latter ‘runs’ afar. Ultimately the thirsty deer accepts defeat. Another example is that of a rainbow. Try as much as you can but you can never ‘catch’ the illusory rainbow. The brilliance of solar rays that fall on water creates an illusion in our eyes and thus our eyes tell us that there is a tangible rainbow. Yet the fact remains that the rainbow is but an illusion harbored by our gross eyes.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_religion_of_future-scientific_religion.htm

Take the example of a movie. We see pictures laughing, crying, walking etc on the screen. It seems very amazing and miraculous. But the question asked is whether all this movement clearly visible to the gross eye is real and true?  Individual pictures which move at 16 second cannot be seen individually by our eyes. As a result an illusory moving scene is created. Individual pictures which are actually unmoving can be seen moving by our gross eyes due to the creation of an illusion. Voices emanating from loudspeakers come from one place and the picture is at another place. Yet our eyes and ears are fooled into believing that the picture is actually talking, singing etc.

At dawn in the morning and twilight in the evening the sky manifests amazing hues. Yet are these colors truly real? Actually these different hues do not exist but because solar rays create an illusory effect in our eyes, we all notice these colors. The sky appears to be blue in color but the fact remains that no such blue color exists in space. Our eyes under the influence of illusion ‘sees’ this blue color and fools our intellect in the process.

The function of the human eye is to understand the nature of an object via color perception. Yet the fact remains that majority of the times our eyes succumb to illusory effects and thus gives us wrong information. Let us study the following examples. The chimneys of mills and factories emit a lot of smoke. If you minutely analyze the color of smoke, it differs now and then. When the base of the chimney has trees, buildings etc that are not lit up the smoke color seems black. Bang opposite to this if the building trees etc are lit up with sunshine the smoke appears to be brownish. When smoke emitted from burning coal, wood etc is exposed to sunlight its color appears yellowish. In actuality smoke is colorless. The illusory color is due to the designing of the carbon atom and other material present on fuel. Light gets reflected away from it and thus smoke seems black in color.

In the rail engine the tube of the boiler emits blue steam but when it enters atmospheric air, its particles become larger and appear white in color.

There are many factories which use low quality coal and hence the smoke emitted is dark black in color. If one visualizes the sun through this smoke, the sun appears like dark red.

Many types of germs, bacteria etc are present in water which cannot be seen by the naked eye. They can be seen only with the help of a microscope. With our eyes we can see many stars in space but the fact is that there are infinitely more stars not perceived by our eyes. Thus since our eyes have limited capacity we take the help of gigantic telescopes to view those innumerable stars not seen by our naked eyes.

Even today we are unable to fathom the deeper layers and units of an atom despite the phenomenal success achieved by modern science. Its more gross aspect has been calculated via subtle mathematical calculations. No doubt scientific technology has helped in finding out the overall design of the atom and yet mathematical calculations based on inference have been of much greater help in the research of the structure of the atom.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_religion_of_future-scientific_religion.htm

In order to find true reality we will have to make more widespread and all encompassing our research and testing methods. It is a great error on our part to rely only on information given by our 5 sense organs. Today majority of research laboratories base their testing methods on the ‘direct proof’ given by the 5 sense organs. Hence many a times they fail to come to the right conclusion. In the previous paragraphs we have detailed the fact as to how our eyes can be misled into giving wrong information like the sky appearing to be blue in color when in actuality this is far from the truth. If we insist on relying on our 5 sense organs only then we are bound to stray in darkness for eons together. Modern science uses scientific methods to prove many ancient beliefs and superstitions as false. Despite this if modern science insists on believing that their 5 sense organs are the final proof of all research conducted then know for sure that they have come out of the iron cage of superstitions etc (which is required) only to enter the golden cage of so called direct proof offered by the senses.

Leaving aside some gross facts whatever we see, hear etc as far as other aspects are concerned is believed to be absolutely true. Yet the fact remains that we are far from the truth. We are very much used to believing our day to day experiences with the help of the 5 senses as absolute truth. And yet if we go deeper into all this we will realize that time and again our senses have led us in the wrong direction. In fact our 5 senses give us various experiences solely on the basis of some gross beliefs. If these beliefs are changed then our previous conclusions and inferences too will have to change automatically.

Our brain centre has the capacity to give levels of information that is very common. If we remain satisfied with this then we can say that whatever we see, experience etc is truth. Yet the bare fact remains that our very hypothesis on which our 5 senses and brain function is itself erroneous to a great extent. Hence how can such an intellect realize the absolute truth and reality? This question is so tedious that it is very difficult to answer with ease.

While selling fruits, vegetables etc weighing scales are made use of. The basis on which we measure weight itself is based on a hypothesis. Without this all businesses will come to a grinding halt. Yet the question remains as to whether our very basis of weighing materials is true in itself? When one thinks deeply about this our intellect will get rattled. Weight by itself has no existence since it is very relative. Weight of an object is nothing but the force required to obstruct the influence of earth’s gravitational force on the object.  An object that weighs 37.33 kg on earth weighs 18.7 kg when raised at a height of 3.5 miles. The more you raise an object higher up in the air the more weight it sheds. There is an area between earth and the moon wherein if an object is weighed there it will be weightless. Even if a gigantic mountain like Everest is placed there it will be weightless. This mountain will hang in space in this area. The force of gravitation on other planets is varied. The weight of an object on planet earth will differ significantly when weighed on other planets like Mars, Neptune etc. Thus we can conclude that weight of any object is relative. This is because weight depends on certain hypothesis and circumstances.

In our daily transactions we make use of the measure of speed a great deal. Speed too is as important as weight. We can reach from one place to another with the help of various vehicle options like car, plane, ship etc which have various speeds to cover distances. But the question asked is whether the basis on which speed is calculated is factual or hypothetical?

While writing something seated on a chair and table we feel we are not moving and instead are steady. Yet it is a fact that we are moving at a speed of 1000 miles per hour in one direction. This is the movement of planet Earth. It is because we all dwell on Earth, we too perforce move while the Earth is revolving and rotating on its axis. Our sense organs fail to experience this speedy movement and hence it is under the illusion that or body is steady and unmoving. The sense organs experience movement only when we walk, ride a horse, move in a car etc.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_religion_of_future-scientific_religion.htm

The Earth rotates on its axis and hence we come back to our original position after moving for 24 hours. But even this is not totally correct because the Earth revolves round the sun at a speed of 666,000 miles per hour. The Earth returns to its original position in space after 365 days or 1 year. Even this is not totally true because the sun revolves around the ‘Super Sun’ along with the Earth and other planets of the solar system. Further this ‘Super Sun’ too revolves around another ‘Super Sun’ and God alone knows how many more such cycles of circumambulations take place. Hence the gist of all this is that we cannot return to the same destination in which we are situated today at least in this birth of ours. If we move from our space we do so eternally. And yet our deluded minds insist on falsely conveying to us that we are static all the time and that we are not moving along with planetary etc movements.

The measurement of speed too is illusory just akin to that of area. If 2 trains move side by side at the same speed it will appear as though both are moving and swaying identically. If 2 cars approach each other from opposite directions at a speed of 40 miles/hour they will feel as though their car speed is 80 miles/hour when they whiz past side by side. Same is the case with 2 trains that move in opposite directions (side by side). They too will feel that the speed is double while they pass each other. If the speed and direction of the movement of other planets, galaxies etc were to be ditto as that of Earth interstellar space too would appear motionless and static. The sun, stars etc would never arise nor set under such circumstances. All planets etc would remain where they were for eternity. At that time despite all of them moving at same speeds they would appear motionless.

Speed is very much relative. One can measure speed in many ways. If you subtract 90 from 100, 10 remain. If you minus 20 from 30 or 40 from 50 even then 10 remain. In order to get the same difference (10 in the above example) different sets of numbers are made use of. Despite these varied numbers the difference remains the same. If you want the difference to be 1000 you can use so many numbers to get this difference. The same holds true for measuring speed. Ancient geography specialists measured speed by saying that the sun is motionless. Lunar/solar eclipses, the rising and setting of stars, planets of the solar system which gives day and night etc too has so far been measured on this basis. Yet the measurements have been totally apt so far. Despite this the premise that the sun is motionless which aids in the above measurements itself is baseless and false. When illusory premises give correct results how does one differentiate between the true and false. When one deeply reflects on this subject one’s intellect becomes dizzy.

In ones daily transactions it is necessary to measure distances. Without this travel would not be possible. The Earth is divided into latitudes and longitudes. Without measuring distances air travel etc would be well nigh impossible. The 10 directions (north, south etc) are an important basis for ones successful travel. And yet by themselves they too are illusory and have no absolute existence.

If you gaze at a very large pond while traveling beside it in a parallel manner it will appear that it is absolutely straight. Yet the fact is that after traveling for sometime you will reach the original position from where you started. This is because the pond is circular in nature. Even if you draw a straight line on a rubber ball, it will actually be circular. A straight line is one whose 2 ends never meet and that the distance between them is constant. In the above case of the pond and ball, a so called straight line too is ultimately circular. Even if you draw a straight line on a piece of paper, floor etc it will ultimately be circular and never straight. Minute circular lines may never be identified by us yet they will always be circular. The ground which appears flat to the naked eye too is in reality circular. The sea appears flat and yet when ships travel in it, it becomes clear that just like the ground on which water exists, the sea too is circular. The point at which the sky and sea appear to meet is called horizon. Whenever you watch this horizon it will always appear to be at a distance of 3 miles from where you stand gazing at it. If you stand at a height of 200 feet above the ground the horizon appears to be at a distance of 20 miles. All this proves that the Earth is a globe i.e. round. Despite this our naked eyes cannot perceive the Earth to be circular. Thus our measurements of distances too are faulty.

The Moon is definitely seen to be higher up in space when gazed at from Earth but if after landing on Moon you gaze at Earth the latter seems to be higher up. If we could manage to station ourselves in interstellar space beyond the solar system it will be clear that there is nothing like north, south, east etc. Meaning no directions exist. Thus directions too are very much relative and not absolute. New Delhi (in India) is west of Lucknow, east of Mumbai, north of Chennai and south of Haridwar. Thus when directions to reach Delhi are given they are relative and that by itself Delhi is directionless.

In worldly transactions time measurement is very much important. It is on the basis of time that offices open/close, railways/buses run etc. Our daily life revolves around time. Yet the premise or basis of time too is no less faulty. The time designated for sunrise and sunset is not as we actually believe it to be. When we actually see the sun arising, the fact remains that it had already arisen 8.5 minutes previously. This time is the time taken by solar rays to reach Earth. When we see the sun setting at dusk it has actually done so 8.5 minutes previously. There are many stars in the sky which although visible to us today have actually set thousands of years previously. This illusion is the result of the light of stars reaching Earth after thousands of years. We become actually aware of the stars setting after thousands of years. The same holds true for all the planets, satellites of the solar system. They have arisen or set much before or after the time calculated by Indian astrologers in their Panchangs (diary).

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_religion_of_future-scientific_religion.htm

One may visualize a star in the sky as straight ahead of us yet this need not be true. Light does not always travel in a straight line. Light rays too are material in nature and that it too can be weighed. Light rays falling on an area 1 mile in diameter for 1 minute weighs 1 ounce approx. It is but natural that gravitational force influences objects. When light of various stars enter the solar system it becomes zigzag or staggered in form because of the influence of the force of attraction of sun and the other planets. Despite this our eyes fail to perceive this staggered light and instead out of illusion we see it as straight. It is quite possible that it lies on the periphery of another star, sun or planet yet our eyes see this light as straight. In the same way if our eyes see a star right above our head in the sky the reality is that it could be much lower or diagonal  than the position seen by us. In this manner not only directional data but also time measurements too are no less illusory in the absolute sense.

Philosophical discussions do include time and space related topics. This space is certainly not some country, region on Earth etc nor is time an hour, minute etc. All these are only technical terms. The length, width and breadth of an object is called space and changes taking place in them is called time. Ordinarily objects are seen on the basis of its length, width and breadth whereas while discussing and describing it the 4th ‘dimension’ of time too should be included. But the problem is that speed and direction keep varying and are illusory too. Time is itself based on them and hence if the basis itself is erroneous how can the result of time be apt? Even if objects are said to be 4 dimensional instead of 3 yet this problem remains unsolved. What exactly are objects? What are its form, nature and quality? This cannot be described in totality because the manner in which its atoms move speedily disproves our description of it in the very next moment because of its uncertain position (something like the great scientist Heisenberg’s principle).

What is big and what is small? Even this question cannot be answered satisfactorily. A stick measuring 5 feet is smaller than another which is 6 feet and is bigger than a stick of 4 feet. A tree trunk with a diameter of 2 feet is thinner than another of 3 feet and is thicker than that which has a diameter of 1 foot. We cannot say whether an object is in absolute terms. An object is labeled thin or thick only with reference to another object. By itself it is neither thick nor thin.

Who is rich, who is poor, who is happy, who is sad, who is a saint and who is a rogue? These questions cannot be answered in absolute terms because all these qualities (richness, poverty etc) are relative in nature. Before let us say calling a person rich or poor we must find out whom we are comparing this person with? With reference to a beggar a person who has a job that pays him 1000 dollars per month the latter is rich. A person with only 1 sorrow in life is happy when compared to another who has 4 sorrows to contend with in life. Thus is reality we cannot say as to who truly is happy or sad. With reference to a dacoit a small time robber is more gentlemanly but with reference to a person of good character the robber is lowly. With reference to a great saint a man of good character is lower in stature. With reference to an Avatar or Prophet of God a great saint too is if a lesser class.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_religion_of_future-scientific_religion.htm

We measure objects, individuals, situations etc only in relation to one another. Comparison is the highest measure used by us all to make ‘apt’ decisions. What exactly are the things which we measure? It is very difficult for our sharp intellect to decipher them because all of them are limited and not omnipotent in nature. In fact in a certain sense they can be called illusory too. In movie theatres pictures are seen moving on the screen whereas in reality each picture is static. These individual pictures move so fast that our eyes fail to see them in a static manner. Thus out of illusion we see these otherwise static photos in motion. Meaning actors are seen to walk, eat, run etc.

Many a times our experiences are bang opposite to the actual situation. Our senses (eyes, ears etc) not only give false information but also tend to give non-existent illusory information. If we insist on depending on our sense organs to give apt information i.e. think direct visible proof as the be all and end all of life not only can we not attain true divine wisdom but that we will fail to even understand it.

For example take the concept of light. What exactly is light? It is an eddy of electro-magnetic waves. The fact as to whether it is intense or weak depends on its measure but yet its overall effect is singular. It moves at a terrific speed of 1 lakh 86 thousand miles/hour (I mile=1.61 km). Light rays have 7 colors. Various types of admixtures of these 7 colors give other resultant colors.

THE TANGIBLE MIRACLES OF GAYATRI MEDITATION/WORSHIP

9 May

THE ALL POWERFUL/OMNIPOTENT GAYATRI

Gayatri, Gita, Ganga and Gau (cow) are the 4 pillars of Indian culture. Amongst these Gayatri reigns supreme.

All Hindu scriptures, sects, Rishis etc proclaim in unison that Gayatri has a deep import and message for world humanity. In Atharva Veda (19/71/1) Gayatri has been eulogized wherein it is said that Gayatri meditation blesses its devotee with a long healthy life, a strong vital force (Prana), divine energy, fame, wealth and God Realization. Rishi Vishwaamitra says: No other Mantra of the Vedas is as glorious as Gayatri Mantra. All the Vedas, Yajnas, charities, austerities etc put together are a mere shadow of the all powerful Gayatri. Lord Manu says: Brahmaaji (creator of the world) has given us the true essence of the Vedas in the form of the Gayatri Mantra. Once the deep import of Gayatri is understood and imbibed truly, the entire Vedas will be understood by the devotee. Maharshi Yaajnavalkya says: Place all the Vedas in one pan of a weighing scale and the Gayatri Mantra in the other pan. Know for sure that the Gayatri pan will be much heavier.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_tangible_miracles_of_gayatri_meditation.htm

Rishi Parashar says: He who has not imbibed Gayatri deeply is indeed lowly (Shudra). Rishi Shankh says: Gayatri catches hold of a man’s hand about to fall into the ocean of hell and thus saves him from pain and anguish. Rishi     Shaunak says: Gayatri is that Divine Mother who gives birth to infinite material and spiritual wealth. Rishi Atri says: One who truly understands the deep import of the Gayatri principle shall no longer face any hardship of this material world. Vyaasji says: If one truly imbibes Gayatri it becomes a Kaamadhenu or wish fulfilling cow. The river Ganges washes off our bodily sins and Gayatri sanctifies our psyche/soul. Rishi Bhaaradwaaj says: Gayatri meditation helps us realize God/Self and man attains heaven and salvation (Moksha). Naradjee says that Gayatri is a direct incarnation of Divine Energy. Vasishthaji says: If a very lowly person who performs innumerous illegal and criminal act performs Gayatri devotion, he/she too can attain a very high inner spiritual state. There is such a great amount of literature in religious scriptures that deal with the greatness of Gayatri meditation that if all of them are published a new gigantic book will have to be printed.

Just like saints and Rishis of the past even contemporary wise saints and sages accept the greatness of Gayatri devotion. Mahatma Gandhi (Father of India) says that Gayatri Mantra chanted with a calm and steadfast mind helps one overcome even those obstacles which otherwise appear insurmountable. Lokmaanya Tilak says: Gayatri Mantra inspires us all to give up the path of falsehood, crime, illegality etc and instead march ahead on the path of truth, honesty, ethics and sacred ideals. Mahatma Madan Mohan Malvyaji says: Amongst all the priceless jewels given to world humanity by all saints and sages, Gayatri reigns supreme.

The great Indian poet and Nobel Laureate Raindranath Tagore says: Without any room for doubt Gayatri Mantra can awaken the soul of the entire nation. The great Yogi Shri Aurobindo opines that infinite energy rests in the Gayatri Mantra. Swami Ramkrishna Paramhans said that Gayatri Mantra bestows many Sidhis (divie powers) to its unswerving devotee. His disciple Swami Vivekanand maintains that Gayatri is the crest jewel amongst all other great Mantras. Adi Guru Shankaracharya says that it is impossible for the limited human intellect to describe the true greatness of Gayatri. Swami Ramtirth says that Gayatri wards off ‘Kama’ (desire) and replaces it with ‘Rama’ (God).

Maharshi Raman says: Gayatri gives its devotee both material and spiritual benefits. Swami Shivanandji says: Gayatri Mantra chanting keeps our body healthy and fit, ones character becomes radiant and pure, ones intellect becomes subtle, farsightedness augments and mental focus becomes very sharp.

The founder of Arya Samaj Swami Dayanand Saraswatiji was a great faithful devotee of Gayatri. He laid great stress on Gayatri devotion. Once, Swamiji told the Maharaja of Gwalior: It is more beneficial to perform Gayatri Purascharan (worship) instead of a Bhagwat Saptah (7 day discourse). Shri Dayandji had conducted Gayatri Yajnas on a gigantic scale in many regions with the help of about 40 Brahmins for each program (Anushthan).

Gayatri is the wish fulfilling cow of our material world. Man can fulfill all those desires which are appropriate and most required with Gayatri’s grace. It is also called nectar because it satiates the thirst of ones soul and thus established infinite/eternal peace. Gayatri is so omnipotent that it can overcome ones vicious cycle of birth and death i.e. one attains salvation. A devotee who clings to the ‘skirt’ of Mother Gayatri renounces lowliness and ascends to the peak of both material and spiritual peaks. Hence it is also called Paras Mani (touchstone). There is no restriction whatsoever as to who is eligible to chant the Gayatri Mantra. Thus a householder, mendicant, male, female, children, aged people etc have equal right to chant Gayatri. In short Gayatri is the birthright of entire world humanity. Ignoring this right is akin to neglecting ones righteous duty to execute meritorious deeds.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_tangible_miracles_of_gayatri_meditation.htm

Gayatri Mantra transforms our psyche in a total and positive manner. As soon as a devotee starts chanting this Super Mantra he experiences certain movements in his/her psyche which in the long run benefits one both materially and spiritually. When Sattva Guna (purity of heart) augments vile qualities, bad thoughts, lowly character and feelings of hatred/enmity start diminishing significantly. Simultaneously positive qualities of the human mind like sweetness of speech, honesty, truthfulness, generosity, self control, humility, purity, zest, zeal, cosmic love, contentment, peace, service, oneness of soul etc augment in the devotee’s psyche more and more as days go by. As a result society at large is impressed by a Gayatri devotee’s character and activities and hence they eulogize this devotee, show gratefulness, harbor faith and respect this devotee. Time and again sincere Gayatri devotees are helped by one and all be it any corner of the globe. Further these divine qualities in a Gayatri devotee’s soul are so nectarine that the devotee swims in the ocean of divine love and supreme peace/contentment in his sacred soul. Such great devotees eternally rejoice in the heavenly love and peace of their cosmic soul.

Sincere Gayatri meditation results in an extraordinary transformation of one’s psyche. In the sense because sense of right/wrong, farsighted vision, spiritual values and a subtle divine wisdom augments all sorrows which have their basis in spiritual ignorance/blindness (Avidya) are destroyed from their very roots. As per ones destiny certain fruits of ones past actions one has to face dire situations in life. On the one hand laymen with ordinary limited psyches face circumstances like loss, agitations, obstacles, illnesses, hardships, separation etc with great suffering. On the other hand a Gayatri devotee full of a strong will power faces these very dire situations with wisdom, immense patience, steadfastness and valor. Such a devotee actually experiences God’s grace under all circumstances and hence smiles whether he/she encounters pain or joy (their psyche is perfectly balanced while facing dualities like profit-loss, pain-joy etc). Hence external circumstances of dualities can never affect the untold divine bliss he/she experiences at the soul level.

The supreme goal of all human lives is attaining a powerful soul force and it is the fruit of Gayatri meditation. Apart from this many material gains too are attained by a Gayatri devotee. These gains include overcoming illnesses, weakness, joblessness, business losses, household quarrels, mental taints, court cases, enemy attacks, lack of marital joy, intellectual weakness, unbalanced psyche, harassment of ones own children, problems of getting ones children married, apprehension of facing a bad future, fear of failing in ones exam, bad habits like drug/alcohol addiction etc. All these and many more material problems faced by us all daily can be warded off successfully via Gayatri devotion and meditation.

Behind all dire situations lies our erroneous attachment to material objects which in turn manifest as problems, taints and inaptness. Gayatri devotion augments purity and focus of our psyche. Further positive changes take place in our eating habits, daily routine, viewpoint and character. Thus this very transformation of ones psyche is the royal path which wards off hardships and strife in our lives. Many a times it so happens that our aspirations, desires, yearnings etc are not in tandem with our individual capabilities and circumstances faced which are the results of our past actions. Hence a wise person who has purified his intellect and psyche renounces unwholesome and illusory desires and thus escapes the painful net of delusion. Of course there are certain situations that one has to face as per ones destiny which cannot be overcome. An ordinary layman will face them crying and wailing aloud but a mature Gayatri aspirant will face them with a calm smile because his/her psyche oozes with infinite divine power to face anguish.

Gayatri worship is also executed to overcome some special hardship faced in life and also to fulfill special requirements. Majority of the times Gayatri worship has succeeded with reference to this. Time and again it has been seen that the one who stares at hopelessness, failure, apprehension and fear performs Gayatri worship with immense devotion experiences Vedmata Gayatri’s blessings. Hence the previous situation of despair and anguish is converted into joy and success. It is because I (revered author of this e-book) have had the good fortune of experiencing many such incidences my faith is indomitable that no Gayatri worship performed with faith and devotion fails in the long run.

Gayatri spiritual practices are those spiritual exercises which definitely augment ones soul force substantially. It is commonly seen that many people learn wrestling and body building exercises so as to combat other powerful wrestlers or win prizes in body building contests. Suppose a budding wrestler loses a wrestling bout it should certainly not be misconstrued that his efforts of learning wrestling have gone in vain. In fact the more he perseveres to toughen up his body the more benefits he will accrue as days go by. Similarly there are many achievements in life like good health, beauty, long life, capacity to work very hard, marital bliss, children of good character, bigger income, no fear while facing foes etc that are no less important when compared to winning a wrestling or boxing bout. Thus assuming that a person performs spiritual practices with a definite aim in mind but this aim is not achieved never rue that ones efforts have gone totally in vain. This is because the divine energy that manifests due to spiritual austerities will get stored in the psyche and will be of great use in future while facing other destinies of life.

The soul itself is the head quarters of all cosmic divine powers (Ridhi-Sidhi). All the powers owned by God have been inherited by God’s ‘princes’ viz. human beings. Although all divine powers exist in the human soul yet they are latent. It can be compared to fire covered by a lot of ash which makes it capacity to blaze very weak. Similarly taints in the human psyche like lust, greed, jealousy, hatred etc is the ash that covers the divine powers present in each individual soul. Gayatri meditation helps destroy this veil of taints and just as when the above mentioned ash is removed the fire which was previously weak starts blazoning forth in full flow. Similarly on destroying the veil of taints in our psyche via Gayatri devotion the otherwise latent powers now manifest in full strength. Those divine glories achieved by great Yogis via intense austerities are attained with relative ease and speed via Gayatri devotion.

In ancient times great Maharshis attained many divine powers like Animaa, Mahimaa and other Ridhi-Sidhis via intense austerities and Yoga based practices. Indian Mythology describes scores of such miraculous powers attained by Yogis etc of yore. And yet it prudent to note, that these Yogic and other forms of austerities had their roots in Gayatri devotion. Even today there exist great saints and sages who manifest miraculous divine powers. All of them agree that apart from Gayatri devotion no other spiritual endeavor can help you achieve your spiritual goal with greater ease and speed. In the past apart from great Sidhas even Chakravartis of the solar and lunar dynasty have followed the path of Gayatri. Brahmins of yore became Gurus of the world due to power attained via daily Gayatri worship and same is the case with Kings of past who ruled the world (called Chakravartees).

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_tangible_miracles_of_gayatri_meditation.htm

Muni Vasishthaji owned a wish fulfilling cow (Kaamadhenu). With its help he could overcome Rishi Vishwamitra’s gigantic army. He was instrumental in ensuring that King Dileep and Dashratha’s (Lord Rama’s father) lineage did not get destroyed. Not only this but that their lineage produced great Kings. All this was due to the grace of the wish fulfilling cow and the cow is none other than Gayatri. King Dileep along with his consort daily served this cow devotionally and drank its milk (grace) reverentially. In this manner Rishis of yore performed many spiritual and Yogic penances which had their roots in Gayatri devotion. Rishi Dadhichee became an infinite aura of Gayatri energy after performing intense penance. Indra defeated the Asuras (demons) with the help of a thunderbolt or Vajra made from Dadhichee’s bones. Gayatri is called a Brahmaastra or divine weapon. Its attack never goes in vain. Gayatri is the wish fulfilling cow of this material world. He/she, who devotionally drinks its milk (blessings) regularly, never encounters suffering, despair, discontent or lack of satiation.

Brahmaji created the 4 Vedas with the help of the 24 letters of Gayatri Mantra. In order to throw more light on the deep import of these Vedas Shaastra, Darshan, Brahmana, Aaranyaka, Upanishad, Smritee, Sootra, Purana, Itihaas etc were written. In this manner Gayatri is the Mother of the Vedas which deal with material and spiritual science. If one truly imbibes the meaning of Gayatri one will become an adept in all Vedic scriptures.

The 24 priceless letters of Gayatri can be used as a test to decide which activities in our daily life will prove beneficial both materially and spiritually on a long term basis. Every letter is like a jewel of immortal message. The divine sound “OM” teaches us that since God pervades every pore of the cosmos do not act in an unwholesome manner and more importantly do not harbor vile thoughts albeit even secretly. “Bhoohu” teaches us to avidly search for those causes that destroy us and replace them with those that uplift us in an all round manner. “Bhuvaha” tells us to carry out our appointed duties very meticulously and after having done that accept the results as God’s grace. One must scrupulously avoid unwholesome actions even if they give material gains for the short term because ultimately the irrevocable Law of Karma (actions) will tighten the noose of hardships round your neck. “Svaha” means develop a balanced psyche that faces dualities like joy-sorrow, pain-pleasure, profit-loss, good-bad etc very calmly and without going overboard due to grief or joy as the case may be. “Tat” means do not look upon the pleasures attained via the body and senses as the be all and end all of life. Sense pleasures are short term gains which have to end at a certain point in time whereas spiritual gains are long term i.e. eternal. “Savituhu” means imbibe wisdom, sacred intellect, good health, legal wealth, wholesome name and fame, world friendship, positive valor etc. “Varenyam” tells us to imbibe truly only that which great in this world of dualities. “Bhargo” tells us to keep pure our body, mind, wealth, home, clothes and behavior at all levels of life. “Devasya” means developing a generous and farsighted psyche. “Dheemahee” means imbibing good qualities, great character, divine glories and high thinking. “Dheeyo” means not blindly following some individual, literature or sect. Give up this herd mentality and imbibe that which is apt and beneficial both materially and spiritually in the long run. “Yonaha” tells us to imbibe self control, penance, wisdom, endurance, tolerance, hard work, economical living and divine powers so as to use them for world well being. “Prachodayaat” tells us to inspire fellow beings, help the weak and downtrodden to higher statures in life, egg others to imbibe ethics/values, imbibe zest and zeal, remain contented and serve all equally in the world.

In all Vedic scriptures many precepts have been enumerated and their gist has been detailed in the above paragraph. If we truly imbibe all the above qualities know for sure that we will become scholarly masters of the Vedas. The 24 letters of the Gayatri Mantra encompasses within itself the scheme, ethics, thought perception and mode of action for leading a divine life. A Guru (preceptor) helps his disciple to walk in this direction on the basis of apt guidance. Thus our life of ideal takes birth with the help of our Mother Gayatri and Father in the form of a realized saintly Guru. Such a disciple is called a Dvija i.e. twice born.

The 24letters of the Gayatri Mantra have been woven so wonderfully that mere chanting of it activates subtle energies in the subtle nerves (Naadis) of the tongue, throat, brain centre and palate. Just as when one hits the keys of the keyboard of a computer corresponding alphabets get typed on the screen so too the moment the tongue chants the Gayatri Mantra various Chakras (Plexus) of the body get activated and they manifest subtle energies. Apart from the Chakras various Bhramars (energy eddies), Kamals (lotus), Granthis (energy knots), Sansthans (centres) etc get awakened. The Naadis (subtle nerves) of the mouth transport the impulses of Gayatri Mantra chanting to the various Chakras (plexus) of the body. Just as when the strings of a guitar or sitar (Indian musical instrument) are twanged a beautiful lilting tune emerges similarly when the Gayatri Mantra is chanted with devotion the latent energies of the bodily Chakras are activated and thus the devotee manifests a divine aura. In this manner Gayatri Mantra chanting subtly commences Yogic practices and when the subtle energy centres of the body are awakened they benefit the devotee both materially and spiritually in an extraordinary manner.

Gayatri devotion has 2 legs: 1) By imbibing the subtle teachings present in the Gayatri Mantra one becomes a true human being and 2) Performing austerities so as to activate subtle divine powers in the soul. Both these aspects are essential to imbibe by a Gayatri devotee. The grace of Goddess Gayatri manifests in the heart of that devotee, whose psyche adheres to righteous living, ethics, high ideals, principles and pious activities in his/her day to day living. Gayatri austerities induce a subtle kind of churning in the devotee’s psyche which manifests divine energy that was present albeit latently. It is this divine energy that helps a devotee face trials in life very calmly and this in turn augments his/her will power by leaps and bounds.

Gayatri is called Tripadaa or3 legged. She has 3 eyes and carries a Trishul (weapon). They represent the 3 principles 1.Bhooha 2.Bhuvaha 3.Svaha. “Bhooha” means wisdom, intellect, discrimination, love and pious actions. “Bhuvaha” means wealth, grandeur, status, high stature, enjoyments and material glory. “Svaha” means health based power, daring, valor, enterprise and hard work. The aim of Gayatri devotion is to imbibe all the above 3 types of powers. The more one progresses in devotion many qualities, actions and characteristics manifest and these are the ones who breed wisdom, grandeur and energy in the devotee’s life. Wherever these qualities manifest material means and comforts too will come unasked along with them.

I have read innumerable religious texts and thus I conclude that none can match Gayatri’s supremacy (although the author without doubt respects all religions and saints of the world). Ancient Rishis and Maharshis had performed Gayatri Super Mantra based penance and thus attained greatness. In my common routine life I have seen so many miracles associated with the Gayatri Mantra that I have unswerving faith in its divine prowess. Up till now I have performed 24 Mahapurascharanas of Gayatri (1 Mahapurascharana means chanting the Gayatri Mantra 2.4 million times in a certain time frame). There were so many profound miracles witnessed by me (personally) that it is best I do not list them here. Under my guidance many have executed Gayatri penance albeit on a low scale and yet they too have witnessed many amazing miracles. Thus it goes to show that even a minor effort of Gayatri devotion never goes in vain.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_tangible_miracles_of_gayatri_meditation.htm

I know many people who previously lived a life of lack and poverty. To the extent that even their most basic needs of survival were hard to obtain. They were under tremendous financial pressure like debt etc. Their business was amassing nothing but losses. They then took recourse to Gayatri devotion and lo behold! They not only cut their losses but earned so much wealth which could emit envy in other people’s eyes. I have known people who were less educated and on lower job posts get good increments and promotions as a result of Gayatri devotion. Those people whose IQ was very weak attained a sharper brain so as to become good scholars in their respective fields of study. Many students who previously failed in their exams despite hard work passed them with flying colors due to Gayatri worship. People who wanted to overcome mental taints like indolence, agitation, quarreling nature, anger, addiction (drugs, alcohol etc) and other unwholesome habits took recourse to Gayatri meditation so as to experience amazing transformation.

Gayatri devotion related benefits accrue in all spheres of life and these maybe both material and spiritual. Married couples who fought like cats and dogs, mother-in-laws and daughter-in-laws who could not stand the very sight of one another etc executed Gayatri devotion. The result was they now lived amicably with a sense of love and respect for one another. Brothers who previously warred against each other for property, wealth etc later lived with true camaraderie like Lord Rama and his brother Lakshmana (epic Ramayana) because they surrendered to Goddess Gayatri. Gayatri worship has quelled all forms of household strife. An innocent person who was a victim of false court cases, fraud allegations, murder, crime etc would later face them fearlessly with the grace of Gayatri. Those people who feared enemy attacks for no fault of theirs took recourse to Gayatri meditation and thus they remained unharmed and fearless.

Gayatri has helped so many devotees to overcome trying circumstances in life. There have been cases where patients who were about to be engulfed by the God of Death (Yamaraaj) escaped his net due to Gayatri’s compassionate grace. Many have overcome attacks by ghosts, bad dreams, unconsciousness, coma, weakness of the heart, miscarriage problems during pregnancy etc solely due to Gayatri’s blessings. Leprosy patients have been cured totally. Gayatri devotion helped purify the psyches of many devotees who got bad dreams, faced strife in life etc because of a tainted mind. When the mind was purified all their problems vanished into the thin air. Devotees who suffered from diseases, that were both painful and deadly, managed to overcome them by surrendering to the Mother of the Vedas i.e. Gayatri. Diseases like paranoia, plague, pneumonia and many others have been cured by Gayatri Mantra chanting with faith and devotion.

I have seen devotees of Gayatri overcoming psychosomatic diseases that result due to tension and worries. Those who were agitated mentally because of the death of a dear one, loss of wealth, huge debts, apprehension of failure, huge expenses for ones daughter’s marriage, separation from ones beloved, loss of jobs, poverty, insults, deadly diseases (cancer etc), attack of enemies, apprehension of a bad future etc attained great peace of mind once they commenced Gayatri meditation dedicatedly. In many cases devotees have been helped in many strange ways or that their will power has become so potent that no sorrow or pain could create turmoil in their psyche. Others have been aided by divine inspiration and guidance after their hearts were purified via Gayatri devotion. But what has been common to all of them that they faced hardships of all kinds with grit, determination, valor and a serene smile on their face.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/the_tangible_miracles_of_gayatri_meditation.htm

And yet it is best that we become selfless and desire less while meditating on Mother Gayatri with unswerving faith and devotion. Devotees should strive hard to give up this attitude of worshipping Gayatri only if she blesses us by fulfilling our desires. This is because the frail human intellect under the influence of Avidya and Maya (spiritual blindness) is incapable of deciding what is apt or otherwise for himself/herself. Thus it would be wise and prudent on the part of a Gayatri devotee to leave all decisions to Almighty God who is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. God is the only one who knows when and what are the requirements of every creature of the cosmos. Suppose despite intense Gayatri worship some mishap in life is not overcome know for sure that God has some very wise reason to make you undergo that pain. Further the Gayatri worship done certainly does not go in vain and at the appointed hour (when the psyche is mature enough) God will pour his blessings on you. Such blessings attained without pre conditions made by a devotee ultimately leads him/her to God Realization and that means eternal and infinite bliss. Give up pre conditions while performing spiritual practices and you will get infinitely more benefits than what you could have bargained for. The supreme benefit is Self/God Realization and if it had to be attained by shouldering all the sorrows of the world know for sure that the price you are paying is not even an iota of the infinite bliss of God vision.

BRAHMAVARCHAS RESEARCH INSTITUTE (IN SHANTI KUNJ – HARIDWAR – INDIA)

7 May

The research and experimentation departments of Brahmavarchas Research Institute at Shantikunj – Haridwar (India) awaits help from all those individuals who fully understand the goal of Science of Spirituality and have enough inclination to imbibe it and spread it in the entire world.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/part_1.htm

For philosophical research one will have to study many books. For this Brahmavarchas’ own library cannot do full justice to this task.  For that one will have to search for books in other well-stocked library that are related to our topic of interest.  We think that libraries of well-known Universities will be of immense help to achieve our research target.  In certain cases, even libraries of colleges have good philosophical literature.  Many public libraries too can be of help to us.  By gathering materials that are of great use for us from these institutions, it can be of immense help to us in conducting research in our institute.

For material goals, a lot of research is going on in govt. and non-govt. institutions.  Its primary aim is to benefit materially.  Yet sometimes this sort of research gives us such facts which are of great use in correlating Science and Spirituality.  One can avail of this sort of material from such research institutes by maintaining contact with them on a regular basis.  This activity will definitely help the research wing of Brahmavarchas Institute.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/part_1.htm

Apart from this certain regional publications print such material which is of great value as far as proclaiming spiritual truths is concerned.  One can send cuttings from such publications to Brahmavarchas Institute that are based on rebirth, fruits of actions, proof of Extra Sensory Potential (ESP) and mysterious events related to Mother Nature. This sort of contribution too is looked upon as a major aspect of Brahmavarchas Research Institute.

There is a great need of exalted thinkers who have the necessary credentials to find such libraries and research institutes so as to gather necessary information from them and then sending it to Brahmavarchas Research Institute. For this end research members are being appointed wherever such research information is available.  Those who are interested should write to Brahmavarchas Research Institute – Shantikunj – Haridwar – India.

INTRODUCING YUGA RISHI SHRIRAM SHARMA ACHARYA AS PRAJNAVATAR AND AUTHOR OF THIS BOOK

3 May

PRAJNAVATAR IS THE UNIFIED FORM OF THE PAST NINE INCARNATIONS OF GOD.

Until now all the incarnations of God that have manifested have been for establishment of righteousness and transformation of this era based on various situations.  In this era all these situations have manifested at one and the same time hence via a comparative study we can understand easily how a Prajnavatar is the unified form of all incarnations of God.

1) MATSYAVATAR (Fish incarnation) —  the story of transformation of this era.

One day Lord Manu after his worship routine was offering water in his palms (called Arghya) to sun-god.  At that time he heard a subtle voice, Manu.  Look at Me, I need your help.  Manu saw a small fish in his palms and the voice manifested from the fish.  Manu said, You seem to be a divine personality.  Tell me, how can I serve You?  The fish said, I wish to execute a gigantic task and hence this pond is very small for it.  Thus do take me to the river Ganges.  Lord Manu’s heart overflowed with love when he heard the voice of this divine fish.  Hence he took the divine fish in his water-pot and took it to a large river.  On another auspicious occasion Lord Manu again visited that place and he again beheld that divine fish.  The divine fish said, My size is increasing.  Hence help me reach the ocean.  Manu obliged and took the fish to the ocean.  Suddenly there was Jala-Pralaya (destruction of the world by a deluge).  In that destruction everything was getting destroyed and hence the fish asked the seven Rishis (Saptarshis) to sit on its back.  The fish took the seven Rishis to the Himalayan valley from where the Rishis spread the message of the Vedas (spiritual knowledge) to the entire world.  According to the Puranas (Indian mythology) this is the story of the Matsyavatar.

It seems strange that God incarnates as a fish.  And it is more amazing that that this all powerful extrasensory power behaves like a human being.  In the ancient times there has been a tradition of writing and talking about definite cosmic laws in hymn form (Guru-preceptor).  This is the principle of science too. The binomial theorem is a one line equation but it has been enlarged upon greatly.  Einstein’s theory is merely E=mc2 but yet it has been commented upon in a very enlarged manner.  Indian culture too has been presented thus.  This very principle has manifested in our initial five incarnations so that it can be understood by wise men.  Egoistic people full of mental cravings should not themselves put on such facades as is being seen today.  According to astrological calculations this is the time for Kalki incarnation to manifest and hence certain individuals, saints introduce themselves as the Nishkalank avatar (taintless incarnation) but in reality they are not fit enough to be even the tail of this Kalki (horse) incarnation.  They just put on superficial facades, as soon as the artificial black colour is removed, reality stares at us and this is the laughable ridiculous situation today.  Maybe as a result of this, this description was depicted symbolically in ancient times.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/prod01.htm

A fish is that creature who moves in the opposite direction of the flow of water.  It can be either very small or very large in size.  Manu means one who is attached to the world and compassionately wishes to stop it getting destroyed.  The activity and style of working of this mission (Gayatri Parivar) and its founder is of this type.   By warding off vain traditional beliefs he gave the world the spiritual wisdom of Vedic religion i.e. spiritual Indian culture.  The opposing elements tried their level best to obstruct him.  The Gayatri belongs to Brahmins, it is uttered in the ear, it is not meant for ladies, yajna can only be performed by Brahmins, Brahmins are those from birth only, spirituality means only flowers, tilak, garlands, he opposed all this and yet on the other hand rejuvenated all this.  He wrote the great Gayatri science in 3 parts.  Today all small/big children, elders, males, females etc. perform Gayatri worship.  They are marching ahead on the path of self-realisation.  Everyone is accepting its principles.  Under precarious conditions of the possibility of destruction of spiritual sciences, he successfully established the parents of Indian culture (Gayatri yajna) and the Rishi tradition in the Himalayas (Shantikunj—Haridwar).  From here, like the Ganges river emanating from Shiva’s hair locks, it is being spread everywhere.  Everyone is partaking the bliss of its manifestation.

First he entered the water-pot (heart) of spiritually sensitive people, then he gave them Gayatri meditation, then teaching others, then he gave his time, his self, he established other branches, he gave public programs, he established Shaktipeethas, he gave a spiritual understanding of the Rishi tradition that was of a high order, he saved everyone else along with today’s business type hermitages, its heads etc, this divine wisdom would have drowned and there would not remain even a trace of true spirituality if he had not achieved all this.  All this he accomplished by remaining small in stature and today he is its cosmic protector.  The fish incarnation can be seen to pervade every particle of the Prajnavatar.

THE TURTLE INCARNATION MEANING A SUPERB COMBINATION OF MATERIAL COMFORTS AND SPIRITUAL UPLIFTMENT :

Both the demi-gods and demons are sons of Brahmaji.  They keep fighting and battling with each other.  Both parties experienced destruction.  Hence out of anguish both of them approached Brahmaji and requested the latter to show them the path of peace.  Brahmaji asked them to churn the ocean i.e. Samudra-Manthan.  The Mandarachal mountain was made the churning rod.  Lord Shesha (serpent) was converted into a rope.  At one end were the demi-gods and at the other the demons, so as to churn the ocean.  The problem was that due to the churning of the ocean the entire surface of the earth could get shattered.  Hence who would shoulder the burden?  They all hence prayed to the Lord.  The Lord complied by taking the turtle incarnation or the Kacchap Avatar and on his back shouldered the weight of the Mandarachal mountain.  After the ocean was churned, out came 14 jewels which were joyous for both the demi-gods and the demons.  This is the story of the turtle incarnation.

The story of the turtle incarnation is an incomparable sequence of bodily science, social science and spiritual science.  It seems impossible that a mere turtle can shoulder the burden of a gigantic mountain.  How can the mighty ocean be churned and that too with the terrible serpent god (Lord Shesha) as the rope.  But the divine sports of turtle incarnation has proved this incident to be true.  Amongst the 14 jewels there is nectar as well as poison.  The Prajnavatar opens up the mystery of the turtle incarnation as to how both nectar and poison are useful in our lives.  The demons are those who look upon sense merriments as the ultimate goal of life.  For this they are willing to even harass other beings.  This materialistic way of life can be looked upon as the ideal of intellectual principles and those of material science.  In today’s world this Tripurasura demon is seen manifested everywhere.  Due to those materialistic beliefs there is so much oppression, harassment, crime, undesirable elements, robbery, rape etc. prevailing in this world.  Everyone faces situations of destruction like environmental pollution, distrust etc.  A society becomes inert, devoid of sensitivity when there is lack of faith and trust i.e. this inertia is seen everywhere and in all walks of life.  The stream of sensitivity has dried up to such an extent that today husband-wife do not trust one another, there is bitterness between father and son, two brothers become enemies and one reads all this in newspapers.  This is the pain of being a demon.  This is based on selfishness oriented materialism.  And all this manifests because man is looked upon as a mere body and not as the soul.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/prod01.htm

On the other hand because one forgets human values as a result of looking upon spirituality only as the be all and end all of life, today religion has taken the ugly form of blind faith.  Today market places in the form of pilgrim spots, hermitages, Mathas and temples which are again like business houses have become synonymous with ugly corruption.  One may pardon political corruption but the direct result of this façade of spirituality can only be destruction.  This means that divinity is one sided.  Hence churning of the ocean means how to bring both these aspects at one single focal point.  Meaning life should be churned under the test of spiritual practices.  As a result wisdom dawns regarding worldly duties and can help us attain our spiritual goals.

Thus it is clear that the revered preceptor’s main aim and endeavour was to bring both these ideals on one single platform.  In order to unite both the intellectual class and followers of Brahman he established the Brahmavarchas Research Institution in Haridwar, India.  Here both the results of faith oriented meditation of God with form and yoga practice oriented formless meditation are depicted in a scientific manner.  This is the manifested form of Kundalini Shakti worship undergone by our revered preceptor.  He was a great realized saint and a master of worldly material achievements too.  Both are in opposite directions but how both can be brought on one platform can be understood from his writings i.e. in Gayatri Mahavigyan (Part 1) page nos. 240-248.

Our preceptor writes that that the Merudand (spinal cord) is itself the Mandarachal mountain.  Ida meaning the Chandranaadi (left Svar) is a symbol of serenity, divinity and Pingala or Suryanaadi (right Svar) is a symbol of heat and material desires.  By churning both these Naadis (subtle nerves) via Pranayaam (breathing exercises) and other spiritual practices the Mooladhar is activated.  It is from here that the Brahmanaadi i.e. the path of wisdom of the cosmos commences.  The Mooladhar or the base of the Merudand is established when the embryo is in the mother’s womb in the form of a black 6-sided molecule getting attached to the base of the Merudand.  In order to make the roof firm, very strong tent pins are dug into the ground and are then tied by ropes.  The Brahmanaadi too has been tied up by this 6-sided molecule (Shata-Kona).  Thus the vital force is conjoined to the body.  Symbolically this very black 6-sided molecule is called Kurma or turtle.  Because it has the shape of a turtle.  The symbolic meaning of earth depending on Lord Kurma (turtle) is that the house of our life too is dependent on the turtle.  This wisdom dawns only in the psyche of one who undergoes intense spiritual practices.  Our revered preceptor did exactly this and gave us humans these 14 jewels or the path of spirituality wherein despite leading a materialistic life one can attain one’s spiritual goal.  Today both the atheistic intellectual class and theistic class of faith oriented people have joined our mission so as to successfully depict Lord Kurma’s precepts.

IN THIS MANNER LORD VARAH WASHED OFF THE ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION ON EARTH :

There was a demon called Hiranyaksha.  He craved so much for wealth that he ran away with the entire planet earth.  There was utter chaos in the world when he covered the earth with dirt and took it from the route of the ocean.  Under these circumstances who would ward off the veil of dirt on planet earth?  Hence the Lord took the form of Varah (boar) and by killing Hiranyaksha he saved the planet earth.  The Lord removed the dirt covering and gave back the cleansed earth to the human beings to dwell on it again.  This is the gist of Lord Varah’s incarnation.  Hiranyaksha means he whose eyes are full of craving for gold or material wealth only.  The craving cannot be satisfied either by tilling land or making handicrafts.  It can only be satisfied through mills, factories etc. based on advanced technology.  Our Rishis were super scientists but they never used materials that went against nature’s laws which in turn destroyed nature.  Everyone today is aware of how Allopathy medicines have destroyed so many creatures on earth and that how the earth is being milked to dryness.  The fact that our earth needs to be washed off of all dirt can be gauged by the dirt of our cities, the problem of atomic waste, new types of diseases etc.

Daniel Wanken, the author of the book “Charities of God” writes that once upon a time human beings dwelt on the planet Venus.  Just like on earth even on Venus there was chaos, smoke of cars, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide etc.  To study all this 2 artificial satellites were sent there.  Wanken thinks that the 2 moons of Venus called Phovos and Lovos are artificial satellites.  People left this planet for other safer planets when there was a rain of acid.  One does not know whether these observations are true of false but the increase in pollution on earth will definitely lead us to such a dire situation.  For this it is enough that there is dirt and increase in automobile smoke pollution one earth.

Our preceptor by becoming Lord Varah tried to overcome this pollution.  He inspired us to live life in tandem with Mother Nature and researched into gigantic Yajnas.  Today this fact has been proved by modern science.  At the time of Gorakhpur Ashwamedha Yagna scientists systematically proclaimed this fact.  The Prajna Purusha (our preceptor) had not even an iota of attachment to the material world.  But he himself drank this poison so as to save the world from this peril and thus establish its well being.  By becoming Lord Varah he resolved to save the earth’s environment from the peril of pollution.  Until now he not only organized Yajnas but this mission is washing off this pollution by sowing countless trees and reactivating the Ayurveda form of medicinal therapy.  In the coming days this endeavour will get worldwide acceptance.  Only then will the earth be saved.

INCARNATION OF LORD NRISHINHA MEANS REJUVENATION OF FAITH :

The other brother of Hiryanksha was Hiranyakashyap.  He too craved for gold all 24 hours of the day.  This craving made him go against his very soul.  By amassing a great deal of wealth he proclaimed that man himself is God.  He hated to hear about the real God.  He invented so many things that he was under the delusion that neither man nor any other creature could kill him.  He would neither die inside his house nor outside.  It was as though he had a protective life insurance in all places.  He felt he could neither die due to weapon attacks nor due to any disease.  He would neither die in daytime nor at night.  Under such circumstances Lord Nrisinha (Nri=man + Sinha=lion) of dual species by sitting on the patio and tearing up Hiranyakasyap’s torso with his long lion’s nails saved devotee Prahlad and thus established faith everywhere.

Today man truly has become a Hiranyakashyap.  He has so many weapons that he is not scared of being murdered.  He has so many medicines at his disposal that he is sure he can live till a ripe old age and maybe become immortal also.   Of course, this no doubt is his blind faith.  He is sure of his security in all areas of life.  He desires only one thing that God’s name should not be taken and all this is broadcasted in magazines like Sarita etc.  Under such circumstances the Lord utilized all forms of peace so as to establish faith in the heart of man and thus destroy all vile desires, greed etc.  One meaning of Sandhya is Gayatri worship, this is one Sandhi (peace).  Another Sandhi is era Sandhi (junction) in which worldly joy is the sole aim of life.  This belief is being destroyed and spiritual ideals are spreading slowly but surely everywhere.  In the flash of a moment our Prajnavatar(Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya) easily achieved all this in such a way as though like Lord Nrisinha he came out of a pillar by shattering it open.  He protected the Prahlad of righteousness and after leaving behind his devotees who were eulogizing him, he disappeared.  He was of a very compassionate and sensitive nature; for wickedness he was death manifest.  He overflowed with divine love and had extreme wrath too.  He never compromised with fundamental values of life.  The 21st century is manifesting with speed for that very potential of a bright future whose child like faith he had protected.  A small trailer of this in the form of Yuga Sandhi Mahapurashcharan is being enacted in revered Gurudeva’s birthplace, Anvalkheda on 3,4,5,6,7 November 1995 A.D.  This will depict one more scene of destruction of cravings and faith will be established everywhere.  People will witness all this amazingly and eulogise it.

http://www.shriramsharma.com/prod01.htm

THE THREE LEGS OF VAMAN i.e. DEVOTION, WISDOM AND ACTION:

King Bali was very egoistic about his wealth and pomp.  Although he was generous hearted yet he harboured cravings for a lot of things in his psyche.  To attain fame he would do anything.  He ruled over the entire earth.  One day a small child (Vaman) came in his midst and asked for land measuring 3 feet.  Bali laughed and agreed to do so.  At that time Lord Vaman who was a child so far manifested his gigantic cosmic form.  He measured the entire world with 2 feet of his.  There was no place to keep his third foot.  At that point Bali’s arrogance disappeared.  Thus Bali surrendered his all to God.  This is the story of Lord Vaman.  But the amplification is quite large.

Today everyone craves for name and fame.  Hence the Parliament breaks up and governments change. There is bloodshed over differences in ideologies.  Big countries boss over smaller ones.  They act according to their own whims and fancies.  Journalists have become mentally jaundiced, the court of law has no great ideal to live up to, those who should protect their citizens have become looters and all this is going on openly like the slyness of Bali.  Everywhere it is spoken of yet instead of being ashamed about it people take pride in all unethical tasks.  Girls are being burnt due to Sati, they are harassed for dowry.  People who encourage all this are said to be intelligent and are given all honour.  The irony is this that such people think they are very wise. Others think them to be great devotees and full of hard work.

Our Prajnavatar by writing 2700 books placed knowledge in one place in the world and thus gave us wisdom.  Today this literature is in great demand in the whole world.  Gayatri Parivar is becoming synonymous with Vivekanand of Chicago.  Due to this literature no doubt our revered preceptor spanned the wisdom of the entire world and now what remains is to spread it in all corners of the world.  In the same way he gave the true form of holy worship in the midst of religious façade.  In the coming days only devotion of a pure heart will gain momentum in the world and not any façade.  In the same way he showed us all how one can by becoming a man of Yoga of action by uniting God to our activities one can in one’s body perform activities akin to those of 5 bodies.  All these 3 streams put together is Gayatri worship i.e. the Triveni of wisdom, devotion and action.  In ancient times this worship had universal approval and in future this is exactly what is going to happen.  In the same way today’s Bali’s façade of diplomacy will break up and unity, equanimity and affection will gain importance.  The coming era will walk on that path which will harbour welfare of all creatures and bestow well being on them.  A cultured society is possible to build only on the basis of a healthy body and clear mind.

THE CHOPPING OF THE HEAD OF LORD PARSHURAM VERSUS THE THOUGHT RESOLUTION OF OUR PRAJNAVATAR :

It is said that Kings had become very arrogant.  It was in their very nature to harass their subjects and at that time was born Lord Parshuram.  He diligently chopped off the heads of all Kings.

Since Lord Parshuram despite being a Brahmin executed such acts it does seem probable that he gave such intense thinking to Rajasic (active) men that they had to change their very thinking process.  This can be seen clearly in the life of our revered preceptor.  Bad thoughts in our psyche manifest externally as vile actions.  Our revered preceptor humbly warned people with his powerful writings, he scientifically explained the reactions of our actions and thus many vile men were transformed for the better.  A very gigantic ethical movement took place which was akin to the chopping off the heads of political rulers.  The 2700 books penned by our revered Gurudeva is like an axe; whoever reads it is impressed and thus gets transformed for the better.  It is the influence of the ethical movement that has led to seminars of 800 govt. officials.

OBSERVANCE OF CHARACTER DIGNITY BY LORD RAM :

Lord Ram is called Maryada Purushottam— the best amongst pious charactered men.  Our revered preceptor not only established teachings of pious character in all areas of life but himself imbibed it in his life so as to point out to us its utility in day to day transactions of our life.

Lord Ram never took aid from any other Emperor, King etc. but instead his aides were bears, monkeys, chimpanzees etc.  Our revered preceptor gathered ordinary, sensitive people and by taking one hour of daily work from them along with 10 paise of contribution from them he raised the mission from the ground to the heavens.  Ram burnt the Lanka of gold and our revered preceptor crushed to pulp all material ideologies, greed etc.  Lord Ram uplifted the downtrodden, weak, poor and the women class.  Our revered preceptor too cent percent executed these tasks.  He showed the world the cosmic form.  All are witnessing the cosmic form of our revered preceptor.  He respected all Rishis.  By rejuvenating the Rishi tradition he gave a new direction to religion.

SHRI KRISHNA OF 16 KALAS AND PRAJNAVATAR OF 24 STREAMS OF ENERGY :

Lord Krishna’s life commences on the one hand with struggle and on the other hand he establishes folk art.  This too is the story of our Prajnavatar.  Those potentials that were immersed in the sense enjoyments of Kings was diverted by Lord Krishna towards devotion and welfare of all.  Our revered preceptor gave a direction of well being by encouraging singing, art, acting etc.  If Shri Krishna gave us the precept of Yoga of action then our revered preceptor taught us how to perform Yoga of action in today’s trying times.  He converted his home into a hermitage of austerities and also encouraged others to do likewise.  That very Mahabharat which he executed is today the last and potent chapter in the form of era creation.  In this, youths like Abhimanyu are executing gigantic tasks.  There are mighty warriors like Arjun and Bheema.  All illustrious people are trying to make our nation a super power and the entire world full of peace.

OUR REVERED GURUDEVA YUGA RISHI SHRIRAM SHARMA’S SPIRITUAL PENANCE

29 Apr

http://shriramsharma.com/THE%20DIVINE%20MULTIFACETED%20PERSONALITY%20OF%20OUR%20REVERED%20GURUDEVA.htm

THE INNER ANGUISH OF REVERED GURUDEVA AND ENTERING HIS DIVINE SUBTLE BODY:

When we set off on a long journey the number of co travelers is big but by the time we reach our destination the number dwindles to the number of our fingers. Should this be called failure? Is it our ill fate? Is it destiny’s mockery? Should we blame that clay via which although the huge line of co travelers was set up but since it was so unruly that its designing strayed apart while walking ahead only a few steps and after getting deluded in the mad rush towards a mirage for appeasing one’s thirst it veered far away in a disillusioned manner.

This lowliness is such that it has become an obstruction when the role of a leader is enacted. Is this mental delusion that renders the powerful quite helpless, one to tie us painfully to this material world? Is it our vile psychic imprint? Is it our ill fate or a net woven by a spider? It is not being understood clearly. These times are meant for enterprise and powerful efforts it is for valor and daring. In these dire times why is the Gandiva bow slipping from the hands of otherwise valiant Arjuna’s of the world? Is sacred idealism some entertainment like reading novels that no opportunity comes our way to test its aptness? Our Prajna Family must not be compared as equals to other organizations, campaigns and institutions. It is a family like organization dripping with great inner qualities with leading talented personalities for harbingering in Era Neo Creation. They must think only about one thing that as an answer to the challenge of contemporary times for pulling up awakened soul personalities, are they ready to gird up their loins or scurry away like a frightened rat?

The number of co travelers is big. The road is quite lengthy. Midway seeing my fellowmen stray away evokes pain in my heart. By the time we reach our destination we can count the number of people by our side equaling the number of our fingers. In these days such a doubt lurking in my mind is palpitating heartbeats in a fearful way and my head is becoming dizzy.

The above inner agony of a spiritual seeker surrendered to an anguished human race was published in the ‘Akhand Jyoti Magazine’ (April 1982 AD) under the title ‘Apno se apni baat’. This is a plea to every member of our worldwide family wherein by imbibing high stature sacred ideals in day to day living they must play the role of great visionary leaders. This is because potentially great souls are becoming more and more indolent towards performing righteous duties that can uplift world human society to great heights of glory. Our Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya had burnt every drop of the oil of his divine soul in order to uplift human society and hence the above words gushing forth in anguish are but natural. He is pained ere such great awakened souls give up helping in this stupendous mission of Era Transformation and world neo creation.

http://shriramsharma.com/THE%20DIVINE%20MULTIFACETED%20PERSONALITY%20OF%20OUR%20REVERED%20GURUDEVA.htm

The above sacredly sensitive speech of his rattled the souls of every member of every member of our worldwide family and forced them to think deeply as to why they have conjoined to this super divine existence? Is it merely to satiate their selfish interests? Is it for their lowly selfish aspirations or that some form of helplessness pulled them here rendering them demeaned and weak minded? If this is not true why is it that the great activities of a divine deep thinker of this era and founder of this worldwide mission is not being imbibed by its members in day to day transactions of life? Along with this divine exhortation Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya also gave the invitation of ‘cream must swim towards the upper region of milk’. It was that hour when after completing his travel for opening so many Shaktipithas he was returning with a mind full of anguish. He was deeply searching for people from this worldwide family set up by him who akin to great visionaries were ready to walk against the commonplace trend in society. He was deeply pondering over how to jolt them awake from their indolent sleepy mental state. This thought loomed large over his mind ceaselessly. He had written many letters to his holy consort Vandaniya Mataji (HH BHAGWATI DEVI SHARMA) wherein he wrote that a big task yet remains to be fulfilled regarding unearthing human crest jewels so that if anywhere in huge measure of even a small part of Prana Energy exists it can emerge up akin to cream coming up when milk is boiled properly. In this manner this cream (human crest jewels) shall swim on milk (world human society).

The above incident has been published purposely so that every member of our worldwide family is forced to self introspect deeply and understand as to what was the root aim of this editorial? Was Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya in despair regarding what was attained thus far or was he giving a final warning to members to be prepared for a fiery test? If we take a close look at the May 1982 AD issue of ‘Akhand Jyoti Magazine’ that was published 1 month after the above one the facts become clear. In the present issue it becomes clear as to why Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya who imbued everyone with so much life force suddenly became dazed. Why did he become silent when just previously he had given such great nectarine speeches in Shantikunj Camp? If someone has any doubt he must understand his new responsibilities. In it in order to perform his duty in a new way during very crucial perilous times Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya had to act akin to the example of a mother roasting bread on a hot pan above fire, leaving it even though it has started burning so as to stop her child from trying to catch hold of a scorpion.

In reality the increased measure of agitation in the environment and a search for 1000 powerful sacred personalities for Era Neo Creation was rendering him agonized and restless. Thousands of people who had conjoined to him and members who were with him were being ‘churned’ by Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya for unearthing the rich butter layer on top. For this there was a need to heat them but this was not happening because he had to keep traveling for various programs and also give sacred discourses at Shantikunj (HQ of All World Gayatri Family) time and again. No doubt a divine world family had been created, members were called for various camps but as of now he felt a strong need to carry out lone Tapas and spiritual austerities since it could create a terrific cyclone in the atmosphere. This in turn would awaken those who were sleeping at the soul level and hence sacred ideals could be showcased by them in day to day living. It is from here that commences Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya’s lone Tapas and spiritual austerities. Later after 1 year passed, by it took the form of Sookshmikaran Sadhana (rendering the psyche divinely subtle). The preliminary rebuke given to us all by him too manifested from his great Rishi thinking and while speaking to members in a divinely affectionate manner asked them to change their mode of thinking and action. This too was the immortal thinking of this great philosopher and deep thinker. Why was this procedure changed? When a heavy responsibility like Era Neo Creation has to be shouldered by him, being Lord Mahakal incarnate he takes up both methods: One is that of persuasion, cajoling etc in a divinely loving manner and if we do not pay heed to it he takes up harsh methods of rebukes, punishments etc in order that awakened souls that are part manifestations of divinity do not stray away from the mission’s goal by flowing away in the stream of materialism, by getting trapped in the net of cheap name-fame and hoarding wealth, such a type of harsh rebuke has always been required since time immemorial. Such rebukes have been given by Lord Shri Krishna to Arjun, Lord Rama to Hanuman and Sugriva and Lord Buddha verbally lashing out at Ananda. When this divine manifestation or Avatar saw this desired reaction manifesting he disengaged himself from public contact and took the important decision of creating 5 Virbhadras (divine subtle bodies), awakening the 5 Koshas or Sheaths and awakening the Kundalini of the world. This then would be the final Sadhana or penance of his life in this mortal frame.

Regarding this rebuke of Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya and his decision not to meet anyone personally and that he would just keep the door of his room open for Darshan from far, at a local level an upsurge of activity manifested, all tasks and endeavors took place with swift zest and so many highly intellectual, talented and sacred minded people started joining his mission. After rebukes given by him as mentioned in the article of the magazine he gave many important directions as follows:

1)      In June 1982 AD he wrote about family neo creation so as to increase great glorious activities

2)      In October and November 1982 AD he wrote in order to invite this era’s great thinkers to work for Era Neo Creation

3)      He invited great intellectuals and brilliantly talented people for shouldering the Prajna Movement

4)      He also gave details of Kalpa Sadhana, Prajna Yoga and divine boons to be attained via practicing them

During that year all camps meant for spiritual practice were special in nature. In these seekers were made to execute Kayakalpa (bodily transformation) and transformation of spiritual sentiments. He put emphasis on sanctification of the soul. The mission was categorized thus:

1)      Research

2)      Teaching and training

3)      Public Relations

4)      Art

5)      Women’s Wing

6)      Youth Wing

7)      Religious Parliament

He then invited active people conjoined to various realms to take part in the Prajna Movement.

On the day of Vasant Parva via his writings an important direction in 1983 was given for congregating Swadhyaya Groups. In a certain sense this was an establishment akin to mobile temples and mobile Prajnapithas and Shaktipithas. Via these this era’s stupendous literature was to be taken to all lay public. By and by 24,000 Swadhyaya Groups were created and in their areas they started working actively. In an important editorial of ‘Akhand Jyoti Magazine’ (April 1983 AD) he had written: Prajna Family is being searched minutely from this standpoint that under the blanket some human crest jewel could be found hiding. If we can lay our hands on them our task can succeed that much more. For the entire year he gave up public contact kept jolting the mission members to donate more and more of their time. The Prajna Purashcharana too was rendered speedier in that very year.

From the year 1984 AD spring festival instead of giving Darshan of his gross body to people akin to babies climbing up on their father’s lap demanding frivolous toys he decided to subtly hand over divine gifts of soul power to seekers with powerful sacred personalities. This was a pre planned program of his to enter his subtle body from his gross visible one (Sookshmikaran Sadhana-rendering the psyche divinely subtle). It was methodically commenced in Chaitra Navratri in 1984 AD. In the ‘Akhand Jyoti Magazine’ (May 1984 AD) he had written: In order to design a farsighted plan lone living and one pointed deep mental reflection are mandatory. It should not be called asceticism or weakness but instead be termed deafening silence that marches ahead before a storm. The Sadhana of that time period was called Chaya Purusha by him wherein via 5 subtle bodies he desired to carry out various tasks of the subtle world. In this editorial his holy consort Vandaniya Mataji (HH BHAGWATI DEVI SHARMA) wrote: Let us all experience that Gurudeva has neither become tired nor is he taking recourse to escapism. Instead by imbibing Sookshmikaran Sadhana or rendering the psyche divinely subtle he is augmenting his present inner divine potential in a manifold manner. This consolation was for those who were a bit upset that henceforth they could not have a face to face meeting with Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya.

The ‘Akhand Jyoti Magazine’ (June 1984 AD) was published as a special issue wherein he described the philosophical form of Sookshmikaran Sadhana or rendering the psyche divinely subtle and its deep import since they were the foundation of his sacred life’s journey. By 8th June (Gayatri Jayanti) this issue reached all those readers who were a bit upset that henceforth they could not have a face to face meeting with Revered Gurudeva since he was to suddenly leave them all. The July issue too continued with the above message. In it a clarification was given as to why exactly he was executing this Sookshmikaran Sadhana or rendering the psyche divinely subtle. He wrote: When a person of the stature of a spiritual seeker enters a special inner state he can make 5 subtle bodies of his carry out 5 fold more tasks. Amongst these 5 one was rendered more secure and was chosen so that it could wipe away the tears of weak, sorrowful, anguished people visiting me. It would lovingly massage their scalps and for assuaging their pain it would make them sit in its lap to affectionately caress them. The remaining bodies shall carry out tasks of awakening great souls to work for world neo creation and fulfill the task of overcoming fearful world situations.

The above mentioned thinking tells us that during the period of Sookshmikaran Sadhana or rendering the psyche divinely subtle he was weaving the future of the entire world. By limiting the activities of his gross physical body in order to become much more active in a subtle and widespread arena he was backing away so as to prepare his holy consort Vandaniya Mataji (HH BHAGWATI DEVI SHARMA) to play out his role especially once he shed his mortal coil. This well planned decision is possible only for that existence having incarnated on earth with a special divine mission. It had lived a life of total self surrender, it had executed 100 fold more tasks than any normal gross body can perform and after promising to guide all those walking on the path of sacred ideals as per his instructions had thus laid the foundation of Era Neo Creation. The Avatar form and nature of Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya no doubt has manifested in various activities of his but it also can be glimpsed in various forms when time and again he has given divine utterances.

He writes that: I have been told to render my tasks multifaceted and augmented in a manifold way. For this end one method is to give up the gross body totally and whatever remains to be done must be carried out via one or many subtle bodies. Whenever my divine guide feels it apt it shall not take even a moment for my gross body to dissolve into dust. After this (post death) I shall become capable of carrying out many more tasks via my subtle and causal bodies. After making this speech Revered Gurudeva Yuga Rishi Shriram Sharma Acharya left for his Sookshmikaran Sadhana or rendering the psyche divinely subtle.
