A reaction always follows an action. A pendulum which swings to one end will return to the other end. Those who behave eccentrically later repent and yearn to regain balance. A person of vile addictions loses his health, joy and honor. Those who spend a lot always face lack of finances. A man of vile actions loses a meritorious status both in this and the other world. Opposite to this those who are hard working, disciplined and zealous succeed in wholesome tasks.

 

In those days when energies were used aptly people were happy even if means were ordinary and lived in an atmosphere of joy. Satyuga was that time span which historians never tire of praising. Opposite to this if do’s and don’ts are ignored so as to become unruly such situations will naturally manifest which is looked down upon as Kaliyuga wherein despite many comforts existing people live fearful and agonizing lives. Today this is exactly what is happening. Science has helped man become the lord of a lot of power. Since the intellect becomes sharper day by day information too augments in tandem. There is no dearth of sense merriment. One seeing pomp one gets deluded that we are living in heaven. If all this was apt truly we can say that in this century extraordinary progress has been made. But when the envelope is opened what comes out is nothing but venom and germs. This mockery is the result of ignoring wholesome thinking and acting. If only science and spirituality had walked hand in hand today’s achievements would have given so much joy and peace to world society which in comparison to Satyuga would have been much more. But what can one say of that ill fate, which has deleted the line between apt use and misuse?

THE FLOW OF THE SUBTLE WORLD IS SWIFTLY CHANGING:

 

Although man can act in any way he pleases yet he cannot save himself from facing their reactions whether good or bad. The result of misuse will definitely be dire situations and chaos. This is what is happening today. A cold war has ensued between the wealthy and poor. Those who ignore gentlemanliness are hell bent on destroying love, magnanimity and goodwill to all. Due to the vicious cycle of attack and revenge man has lost contentment, zest and cooperation. Apart from harassing others and showing off one’s ego one cannot think of anything constructive. Under such conditions it is but natural that people become distorted inwardly and society experiences a downfall. How can world balance set in? Air pollution, egoistic behavior and lack of ethics in their own way are warning us that a great destruction is imminent. Land grabbing, population explosion and undesirable trends has agitated everyone as a result of suspicion, distrust, despair and terror setting in. the future seems dark and gloomy. The present is also so chaotic that when you try solving a problem 10 more crop up. Instead of cooperation opposition is in vogue today.

In this state of things the subtle atmosphere too is becoming poisonous. Since we have marred nature it is hell bent on punishing mankind. Famines occur again and again. Floods, earthquakes, epidemics and strife rule the roost. Nature which has always affectionately nurtured all creatures is today ready to kill us. Over and above use of nuclear weapons, radiations and poisonous chemicals there is a doubt that earth will be allowed to regain peace. One wonders whether clouds of destruction that are looming large everywhere will lead to world annihilation or Pralaya. There is a possibility that due to such unbearable attacks this beautiful earth may scatter away to naught in interstellar space and that one will not have any clue of its existence.

 

As per ordinary experience the earth appears motionless and day in and day out we believe thus. But those with subtle vision know for sure that like a spinning top the earth rotates on its axis and for circumambulating the sun it flies like a bird. This is mindboggling and beyond the ken of our ordinary intellect, yet this is exactly the situation. Laymen can only understand things taking place at the surface but those who penetrate deeper know that these days are very explosive and it is like sitting on a pile of gunpowder which can burn us all to ashes.

 

Under what demeaning circumstances will the 20^th century end, this warning has been given by all including specialists and futurists. One sometimes suspects that this black day may appear maybe tomorrow or day after. In the name of progress we are heading towards a downfall. In order to attain everything today we perilously put at stake our precious future. The mineral ore storehouse may get depleted any moment. For a rising population not only food and housing will become scarce but that the earth will appear small to even walk on. Since people will lose their very life force they will die like flies and mosquitoes. Due to lack of goodwill and cooperation people will turn into ghosts even if they flaunt their pomp and wealth. All this can be witnessed today. Tomorrow it will augment and not diminish.

AN INNER ENERGY VAULT IN THE BODY

The vault of the 3 types of energies viz. Satvika’s wisdom energy, Rajasa’s action energy and Tamasa’s material energy are present in Chakras. Gayatri helps awaken these subtle plexuses or Chakras:

The human body is an infinite vault of gross and subtle energies but it is wasted because of unwanted thoughts and activities of the external world. If this wastage is obstructed and the thoughts are introverted and if they work in the inner world only then definitely intense inner power is attained. See the following:

 

Bahirmukhasya mantrasya vrittayo ya prakeertitaha.

Ta evantarmukhasthasya shaktiyaha parikeertitaha.

 

MEANING: When the psyche is extroverted it is called thought waves and when they are introverted it is called Shakti or energy.

 

THE TEN SUPER SCIENCES OF THE INNER WORLD:

 

A very widespread science of the inner world exists. They are in the form of 10 sciences and are classified in 10 ways. In Vedic literature these have been amply detailed.

 

1.UDGITHA SCIENCE  2. SANVARNA SCIENCE  3. MADHU SCIENCE  4. PANCHAGNI SCIENCE  5. UPAKOSHAL SCIENCE  6. SHANDILYA SCIENCE  7. DAHAR SCIENCE  8. BHUMA SCIENCE  9. MANDHA SCIENCE  10. DEERGHAYUSHYA SCIENCE.

 

 

These 10 sciences were the wealth of Rishis of yore. Via this wealth despite lack of hoarding of material wealth they were as rich as Lord of Wealth called Kubera. They attained whatever the demigods had despite being in a human garb and in this material world.

 

In the Tantra path these very 10 sciences can be found albeit under different names. Despite the fact that demonic Vam path Tantra methods differ from Dakshin path’s Vedic methodology yet with their help too these Sidhis can be attained. In the Tantra Path the 10 sciences are called: 1. Indrani  2. Vaishnavi  3. Brahmani  4. Kaumari  5. Narsinhi  6. Varahi  7. Maheshwari  8. Bhairavi  9. Chandi and 10. Agneyi.

 

We cannot give detailed version of these 10 Super Sciences over here. If possible in future it will be detailed in the Akhand Jyoti magazine but just now it is enough to note that the 3 alphabets of Gayatri are akin to a spiritual tri fold union. Just as the material 3 fold union of Prayag Raj takes place when the 3 rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Sarawati unite so too when the great streams of Ida, Pingala and Sushumna present in the 3 alphabets of Gayatri unite the spiritual Triveni is formed. One accrues good merits on bathing in the Triveni river of Prayag but the super fruit attained on bathing in this Triveni river of Yoga is well nigh difficult to describe. It has been said that:

 

Ida bhodavati ganga pingala yamuna nadi.

Ida pingal yormadhye sushumna cha saraswati.

 

Ida is river Ganga and Pingala is river Yamuna. Sushumna which is between these 2 is called river Saraswati.

 

Triveni yogaha sa prokta tatra snanam mahafalam

 

This is the Triveni river of Yoga. A super result ensues on bathing in it.

 

What ever is present in the external gigantic cosmos or macrocosm is present in the body or microcosm. Whatever we attain in the external world can be attained within the body via spiritual practice or Sadhana. There is nothing in the external wrld which is lacking in the body.

 

Via spiritual practices those who master these inner Divine Powers use them akin to those scientists who after mastering steam etc energies via electric atom use it for benefiting mankind. In the material world there is energy which is materially potent. Similarly in the inner world it is seen as spiritual potency. The spiritual power of Gayatri manifests in a spiritual seeker as Sidhis. Such a person feels as though demigods and demons of the invisible world have appeared to serve him/her and are dying to take orders.

 

Yaksha rakshasa gandharva apsarogan kinnaraha.

The current day scientists of material sciences have researched into the above in their own way. They call this power as ‘Energy of Force’. They have classified this power as heat power, electrical energy, energy of elasticity, energy of gravitation, energy of motion, kinetic energy, cosmic electricity, intelligence, super force etc and after knowing their characteristic and functioning they have invented/discovered many things.

In Yoga scriptures millions of years back thousands of principles were unearthed that work in the inner region of the body. Even Modern Science has placed a few steps on this path and quite a few things have been discovered. According to them they have data pertaining to etheric body, mystic rose, solar plefisus, cardiac plexus, thyroid gland, pineal gland, pituitary body etc and opine that there is a direct correlation between the presence-absence of latent skills and special qualities via these special centers and their weakness or intensity. All these are meant for activating the subtle centers. Even via 84 Asanas or postures this aim can be achieved but it will take a while for Modern Science to understand all this. In the second chapter of Yoga philosophy there is a description of the steps of Ashtanga Yoga practice. Those who perform the practice of non violence experience that even wild beasts like tigers etc give up their violent nature. If a person who performs the practice of speaking truth gives a boon or a curse, they definitely fructify. Those who never rob attain very valuable jewels etc. If we undergo Brahmacharya we become divinely radiant. If hoarding is overcome one attains wisdom of not only previous lifetimes but also of past, present and future. If purity of mind is imbibed we stop hating others and will not indulge in lewd relationships. Also one attains joy, focus, sense organ control and Self Realization. If one is always contented the best joy is attained. Due to penance when the dirt of psyche is warded off 8 bodily Sidhis are attained like Anima, Laghima, Mahima etc. Self study and that of scriptures leads to vision of ones chosen deity. Surrender to God leads to Samadhi or trance. If posture or Asana is mastered, one does not feel the pain of duality i.e. hot/cold, good/bad etc. Pranayama helps overcome sin and the veil of spiritual ignorance. Pratyahar helps master ones sense organs.

 

With the help of other types of spiritual practices other types of Sidhis can be attained. Yoga scriptures mention many Sidhis like Anima, Mahima, Laghima, Garima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ishitva, Vashitva, Doordarshan, Door Shravan, Parchitra Vijnana, Parkaya Pravesha, Akasharohan, Maran, Mhan, Ucchatan, Vashikaran etc. All these are possible via Gayatri practice too.

 It is said that:

There are 3 paths of Yoga practices via Gayatri viz. Pippilika, Dadar and Vihangam. By walking on these paths 4 speeches are activated viz. Para, Pashyanti, Madhyama and Vaikhari. The 5 types of sorrows are overcome viz. ignorance, egoistic nature, attraction, repulsion and Abhinivesha. The 4 states of waking, dream, deep sleep and trance are purified. The 6 Chakras get activated viz. Mooladhar, Swadhishthan, Manipur, Anahat, Vishuddhi and Ajna. Also in the center of the brain lies the Sahasrar lotus whose divine light radiates. The movements in the 5 spaces viz. Akash, Mahakash, Parakash, Tattvakash and suryakash become more widespread. Via Gayatri a seeker performing Yoga practice gains victory over 9 obstacles viz. Vyadhi, Styan, Sanshay, Pramad, Alasya, Avirati, Bhranti, Alabdha Bhumika and Anavasthiti.

 

It is Super Energy Gayatri that controls the entire world. With the help of its authority every activity of the world takes place regularly. This has been described in the Kathopanishad as follows:

 

Bhayadasyagnistapati bhayattapasi suryaha.

Bhayadindrashcha vayushcha mrityurdhavati panchamaha.

 

MEANING: Its fear induces fire to burn, its fear induces sun to shine, its fear induces Indra, wind and Yama to run.

 

What can a devotee not attain on faithfully surrendering to such a super great Dvine Mother? He/she can attain everything as mentined in the Shrutis.

 

Gayatraya sarva sansiddhir dwijanam shruti samaja.

 

MEANING: Gayatri meditation can give you all Sidhis mentioned in the Vedas.

 

In spiritual literature for attaining success in devotion/meditation and in making our psyche conducive Gayatri devotion is said to be of extraordinary utility.

 

Sa gayatri samidhanyani cchandansi samidhe.

MEANING: When Gayatri awakens other Mantras get activated.

 

Initially light work is given and later when the capacity augments, heavy work is allocated. When Gayatri’s facile Japa chanting conjoins to correct devotional methodology a devotee is asked to simultaneously perform Yoga practice. When Yoga and austerities combine Gayatri becomes Kundalini or Divine Serpent Power. There is great importance attached to Gayatri practice combined with Yoga practice.

Lord Shiva says: O Parvati! Gayatri is austerities, it is Yoga, it is a practice, it is meditation. It is said to be the Mother of all Sidhis. Gayatri’s brilliance manifests when combined with vital force or Prana energy. Actually Gayatri should be called Vital Force Science. In the Yama-Nachiketa dialogue mentioned in the Kathopanishad the 5 fold fore Vital Force Science has been mentioned. BIOLOGICAL PLASMA BODY

The well known English writer George Allen Knot has authored a scientific book called “Journey by other ways”. In this book of fiction Knot has penned such a vehicle that helps man travel thousands of miles within a few seconds. This aircraft travels with the speed of light and one fictitious person in the book drops many travelers at their desired destination on the way. This fictitious vehicle is neither made up of any metal nor is any technology like engine etc attached to it. Instead some scientists with the help of their potent power of resolve (Sankalpa Shakti) arrange subtle atoms in such a manner that the travelers of this fictitious vehicle become weightless. The fictitious pilot merely makes a powerful mental resolve that “I want this vehicle to reach a particular far off place” and immediately this vehicle speeds ahead with the help of subtle ‘technology’. To even say that the vehicle ‘moved’ is erroneous because within seconds it moves speedily like light to its destination (which is thousands of miles away).

 

 

This book of fiction is so imaginative that one may read it with wonderment for some time and then leave it saying “it is a mere figment of the respected author’s imagination”. And yet Woodland’s (USA) Dr. Zio Bernhardt actually experienced something of this sort. In that as per his power of resolve he reached his destination. In a well known American Journal of Parapsychology Dr. Bernhardt writes: At that time, my son was fighting a war in Vietnam (in the year 1971 A.D). Once seated in my residence I strongly felt that my son was in danger. I felt as though he was shouting aloud to me. Immediately when this deep thought flashed in my mind my body became extremely lighter in weight even than air. From Woodland in USA I reached a far off unknown place within a second. This was the place where my son was waging a war for the army.

 

 Dr. Bernhardt continued: In that far off place raged an intense inferno. My son John was trapped in a tent and on top of him was a very heavy truck. Immediately I removed the truck from John’s body and after dragging him out of the tent I made him stand up.

 

Immediately my body now started regaining its original form and weight. When I opened my eyes I felt I had woken up from a half sleep semi conscious state. My wife seated besides me was checking my pulse. I asked her: Tell me, what happened? She replied: I felt as though for sometime you had become abnormal! I then related my amazing experience to her but according to her it was merely some bad dream. And yet inwardly I failed to agree with my wife’s observation. After 6 months John returned home since he was on leave. John later told us about how he was trapped in a blazing inferno while fighting the Vietnam War and that miraculously he managed to escape the jaws of death.

 

After hearing what John had said Dr. Bernhardt was convinced that as soon as he intuitively and with the help of telepathy got knowledge of this near fatal accident in Vietnam, his own subtle body reached there so as to save John from dying thus. The question he asked himself was: Could it be possible that with the help of ones subtle body one could travel any where at will? Spiritual Sciences give an emphatic answer saying: YES! The subtle body can be separated from the gross visible body as has been the experience of many people the world over. Some years back an experience of the world famous actress Elizabeth Taylor had been published. Elizabeth Taylor as written in that publication was to undergo a major operation. She was made to lie down on the operation table and was anaesthetized. The operation being a serious one continued for some time and when it ended the surgeons suddenly realized that Elizabeth Taylor’s body lay lifeless on the operation table. Her breathing had stopped, blood pressure was falling perilously and her heart beats were very faint. After great effort the medical team revived Elizabeth Taylor. When she regained her composure she said: I saw my self being operated with my own eyes!

Elizabeth Taylor was actually unconscious due to the influence of anesthesia administered to her for the operation. The doctors were wonderstruck and hence asked her: How could you see your own operation being carried out by us? Elizabeth Taylor replied: I too was seeing my physical body lying on the operation table just as I can see the body of another person (meaning she was a witness or Sakshi of her own body). I saw my entire gross body i.e. head, face, mouth, nose etc. I actually felt that I had ‘come out of my body’. I felt I was seeing my body just as I would be seeing the body of any other individual. I felt that my own body was separate from me. At that time I felt that my body was very light in weight akin to a bird’s feather.

 

Since the doctors suspected that Taylor had temporarily entered a dream state they asked her: Tell us, what exactly happened during the operation? Taylor described each step of the operation. Not only this but she also described what apparatus and materials were used for the operation and in what sequence! Amazingly she also described how the chief surgeon had yelled when a particular apparatus was missing and what words he had exactly uttered.

 

After hearing Elizabeth all doubts were dispelled. A point to note is that anyone well versed with Indian Spiritual Philosophy will not be surprised at all to read incidences like those mentioned above because Indian Spirituality has always maintained that apart from the gross body (Sthool Sharira) there exists a subtle body (Sookshma Sharira) and a causal body (Karana Sharira). As against this such incidences can certainly amaze Westerners. It is not as though Westerners do not know about the soul being separate from the body because saints and great philosophers of the West too have deeply studied Spiritual sciences. No doubt they accepted the existence of a subtle principle but because flourishing Modern Sciences scoffed those findings as ‘blind beliefs’, intellectuals the world over failed to give due importance to this subtle principle.

 

And yet despite their non acceptance miraculous incidences explained above continue to take place even today. This has forced modern material scientists too to accept that man’s consciousness is not eternally bound to his gross body of flesh and bones. This is because the conscious principle/subtle body can move about everywhere without the gross body moving an inch. The great Psychologist Dr. Themla Moss has proved that “All individuals without exception can separate their conscious/subtle body from their gross body and within a second can travel to regions thousands of miles away”.

 

In order to prove the existence of that subtle conscious body which is beyond the material laws of nature, Dr. Moss enumerated many real incidences. One such incidence took place in 1908 A.D. There was a meeting of the House of Lords in Great Britain. A ‘no confidence’ motion was set against the government at that time and voting for the same was to take place that very day. The opposition Party was very strong politically and hence it was most required that all government members of the House be present and that none remain absent. And yet one very important ruling party member Sir Cornrush was very ill. There was no way he could get up from his bed at home and yet he was very keen on attending the voting session at the House of Lords. He pleaded with the doctors to allow him to attend the voting session but the doctors refused to do so point blank. Thus he failed to attend the voting session. And yet in the House of Lords many members saw Sir Cornrush taking part in the voting session. On the other hand doctors attending to the ailing Sir Cornrush insisted that he was resting in his bed at his residence.

 

Regarding one more incident Dr. Moss writes: A session was going on in Victoria House of British Columbia Parliament. At that time one of its honorable members called Charles Wood was very ill. The doctors had given hope for Wood’s very survival too. And yet Charles Wood was very keen on attending that Parliament session. The doctors refused to allow Wood to even get up from his bed and hence in despair he continued resting there. And yet very amazingly other members of Parliament actually saw Charles Wood seated in Victoria House for the session. During the said session many photographs too were taken and when they were developed one could see Charles Wood clearly in them!

The world famous philosopher, thinker and psychologist Dr. Carl Jung himself has experienced his subtle body separating or ‘coming out’ of his physical body. This experience has been elaborated further in his famous book “Memories, Dreams and Reflections”. In an incident in the year 1944 A.D. Carl Jung got a heart attack. It was a very dangerous attack and according to his doctor, Dr. Jung was face to face with death. Dr. Jung writes about this experience as follows: While I was being administered medicines and injections for saving my life I experienced many strange things. Even now it is difficult for me to decisively say whether I was unconscious at that time or whether I was undergoing a vivid dream. And yet what is crystal clear is that I actually felt I was ‘hanging’ in interstellar space. Further my body felt as though it was as light as a cotton fiber. From the place actually where I was I felt I was seeing Jerusalem which was thousands of miles away as though I was seated in an air craft flying in the sky with the city flying past below on earth. After this I manifested in a worship hall. There I felt my body to be so weightless that I could go about anywhere without any hindrance. Immediately I saw a ‘shadow’ hovering above me. This ‘shadow’ said: Now you must re-enter your physical body. I hence carried out its command. Now my experience was that I was no longer independent to move about as before. But what is very important is that this vivid experience gave me inner wisdom and thus all my previous doubts were dispelled totally. Now I realized what actually takes place after any human being dies.

 

Without doubt today Modern Material Science has concluded in one voice that what we call ‘matter’ is not an ultimate independent unit of this cosmos. Instead great scientists proclaim that a miniscule atom of matter is also the result of many more subtle particles. When these subtle particles were analyzed during high leveled research studies the Philosophy of Consciousness commenced.

 

In the year 1968 A.D., renowned Russian scientists like Dr. V. Inushin, Chekov, N. Norovov, N. Korarova and Guadulin carried out important experiments. After completing their research studies they accepted that all creatures of the world not only possess a gross physical body (made of flesh, bones etc) but that they possess a subtle conscious body too.

 

These eminent Russian scientists called this subtle body as “The Biological Plasma Body”. While elaborating further they said that it not just merely a collective unit of preliminary units of life which in turn arise from activated electrical molecules but that it is a well managed and self controlled principle. It thus manifests its own magnetic arena.

 

Spiritual Sciences proclaim that subtle consciousness can never be ‘grasped by any gross principle and that it is only a subjective experience. It is but natural that in future Modern Science which has analyzed this gross material world at great length will realize that consciousness can never be pin pointed with even the most advanced technological apparatus and that instead they will have to dive deep into the recesses of their soul/psyche to gain a first hand subjective experience.

 

While researching into the Biological Plasma Body renowned scientists have also analyzed their underlying principles. Soviet scientists have conducted many experiments in order to study the designing/structure and function of this Bio-plasma. Later they concluded that Bio-plasma predominantly exists in the brain region. Further functionally it is most active in the Sushumna (subtle spine) and muscular cells.

 

The Bhagwad Geeta compares this human body to a tree wherein the branches are at the base and the roots are at the top end. Scientists have proven the existence of a vital force which is not cosmic consciousness/soul but is energy of the level of the subtle body. It is also called the electrical energy of the human body. It is present in all creatures without exception.  

 

Prof. Dr. Heraldwar of Yale University’s Neuro Academy has proved that every creature be it a mere ant too is covered by an ‘electro-dynamic’ aura. Later another scientist of this very University named Dr. Leonard Ravitz continued research studies on this line. According to his findings this ‘electro-dynamic’ aura can be influenced with the help of the brain. If we make a parallel study, Indian Spiritual Science has given us the path of Dhyana-Dharana or Meditation-Concentration as elucidated in Yogic texts.

 

Now it is virtually a water tight conclusion that Modern Science too is heading in this direction and that too with great success. A point to be noted is that this success was already attained if we study ancient Yoga Philosophy texts. Mythological (Puranas) and other spiritual texts describe so many examples which can only be called miraculous and mind boggling.

 

When we understand the infinite potency of subtle principles it just does not seems impossible that Rishis, Munis, demigods, demons etc traveled to far off galaxies, planets etc in a matter if micro seconds via their will power (Sankalpa Shakti) or a subtle medium. It is a great possibility that in future scientists find a way to reach other planets, galaxies etc via a subtle medium instead of inventing hi-fi technology which uses up billions of hard earned dollars. The famous electronics specialist Dr. Nichovson has gone on to say that the electronic medium will become so powerful in the next fifty years that with its help scientists will be able to travel easily in interstellar space. Suppose a scientist wants to solve a problem seated billions of miles away in another planet a scientist from Earth will tell him: Please wait for just a minute because I will myself come there and solve it! All this will happen only with the help of the subtle body.

 

It is important to note that each individual does not possess merely one body made up of flesh, blood etc. This is because within this gross visible body exist 2 more bodies called subtle body (Sukshma Sharira) and causal body (Karana Sharira). Between these 2 bodies the subtle body is more active and influential. After death the physical body disintegrates but the subtle body’s existence persists. After one dies although the physical body disintegrates ones mind, psychic imprints (Sanskars) and good deeds/bad deeds continue to exist and enter a new body called rebirth. This subtle body also harbors memory of previous births/incarnations. Hence many a times people identify and remember their past life family members, dear ones etc. It is this subtle body that ‘transports’ ones mind, psychic imprints (Sanskars) and good deeds/bad to the new body (rebirth) after death of the previous body. In reality when we die a certain type of state of ‘rest’ ensues wherein it is as though a living being is warding off the ‘tension’ and ‘hard work’ performed in the previous body. It is like a business man, executive, teacher, house wife etc who after a hard long grinding day, goes to sleep at night for a well deserved rest. Next day when they wake up they feel rejuvenated and look forward to another hard day’s work. In the same way after death when the subtle body ‘rests’ for some time before being reborn it manifests enough capacity to toil hard in the next body called rebirth. Of course there are certain living beings who take up a fresh new body (birth) after giving up the previous body (death) without any rest or pause. Generally such re-born individuals tend to be relatively weak both in body and mind.

 

In any birth the subtle body is as functional as the gross body. When we go to sleep at night and visualize vivid dreams know for sure that it is the subtle body which is at work. It is only the subtle body that is solely responsible for divine vision, hearing far off sounds, seeing far off objects, thought movements, knowledge of the future (prophecy making), visualizing demigods etc. Via Yoga steps like Pratyahar (mastering the 5 sense organs), Dharana (inculcating a one pointed focused mind), Dhyana (uninterrupted meditation) and Samadhi (trance or super conscious state) the aspirant makes his subtle body sacred and potent. This subtle body is the fount of Ridhi-Sidhis (Divine Powers).

 

As soon as death overtakes us our physical body gets destroyed immediately. On an average it takes some time before one gets a fresh new body (birth). Between death and a new birth a living being exists solely due to the help of the subtle body. Even after one is reborn with a new gross body, the subtle and causal bodies too simultaneously continue to exist in it. They are the root source of Extra Sensory Perceptions or ESP. Via devotion, meditation and other spiritual practices it is the subtle and causal bodies that are made more one pointed and taintless. If these 2 bodies are made potent our physical body exudes radiance, valor, divine aura/light and divine wisdom. Zest and zeal in ones life is but the manifestation of a radiant subtle body.

 

Heaven and hell are also manifestations of the subtle body. Wisdom, good/bad psychic imprints, good/bad qualities, inclinations etc have a direct relationship with the subtle body. Ghosts etc too are dependent on the subtle body. It also is responsible for the manifestation of divine experiences, Divine Powers of Yoga (Ridhi-Sidhi), dream interpretations etc.

 

In order to prove emphatically the existence of the subtle body, many incidences have been described in Ancient History, Mythology etc. Adi Guru Shankaracharya entered the corpse of a dead King Amrook to gain wisdom of married life. Ramkrishna Paramhans, even after giving up his saintly mortal coil had given Darshan (sacred vision) to his disciple Swami Vivekananda. Puranas describe such examples virtually on every page.

 

The founder of Theosophical Society Madam Blavatsky was known to lock herself in a room and yet appear in the midst of others who were outside the room with the help of her subtle body. In fact she would even give spiritual discourses. Similar incidences have been described with reference to Colonel Townsend. Amongst well known Yoga aspirants Harvetelman, Lindars, Andrew Jackson, Dr. Malth, Jelt Carrington, Duravel, Muldon, Oliver Laws, Pavers, Dr. Mesmer, Alexandra, Davidnit, Brunton etc have mentioned their experiences and practices which were based on proving the existence of the subtle body. J. Muldon had successfully demonstrated the separation of his subtle body from his gross physical body. Based on these experiences he has authored a book called “The Projection of the Astral Body”.

 

In India Swami Vishudhananda and Swami Nigamananda have given us all proof of such tangible experiences. It is said that once Tailang Swami was put in police lock up by an English Police Officer for roaming around naked in Varanasi. Next day to everyone’s astonishment Tailang Swami was roaming around outside the police lock up. Such descriptions are also found with reference to great saints like Mahindranath, Gorakhnath, Jalandharnath, Kanappa etc.

 

Following is a list of names of great Western Philosophers and Seers who not only belive in the existence of the soul but also agree that the soul persists even after the physical body dies and deteriorates: Ralph Waldo Trine, Midney, Flower, Ela Wheeler, Bilcox, William walker, Atkinson, James, Kenny etc. Great Seers of past times like Carlisle, Emerson, Kant, Hegel, Thomas, Hillman Dyson etc too have a similar viewpoint.

 

Our actions via the gross body and thoughts of the mind get ‘printed’ in the subtle body which are called psychic-imprints (Sanskars). Man’s nature and character are but the sum total of his thinking and activities spanning over innumerable incarnations. The more this nature is adhered to, to that extent those types of psychic imprints get etched in our psyche. In turn these imprints mature and ripen so as to create our good/bad destiny and fruits of actions. In this manner it is the subtle body that has designed the process of giving man the fruits of his past deeds or misdeeds.

 

If we eat unwholesome food, breathe polluted air and act undesirably our physical body undergoes diseases and illnesses. In the same way vile thoughts and vile actions “pollute” the subtle body and thus loses its power and potential. A man who foolishly insists on pursuing the thorny path of tainted thinking and actions is always seen to be weak and full of cowardice. As a result a day comes when he becomes a mentally ill and diseased patient. By itself the subtle body pervades our gross body just as butter in milk. Despite this it is more concentrated in the brain area. Vile/tainted thinking induces imbalance in our mind, brain and subtle body. This results in ones inner personality getting tainted and diseased. This in turn manifests externally as obstacles in the way of man’s material and spiritual progress.

WHY DO WE FAST ON SUNDAYS?

 

In a general way everyone is aware of the benefits of fasting. In that the stomach’s indigestion problems are cured. The digestive organs along with the new energy attained works 2-fold. The poison that is produced when we binge too much is absent. These gross benefits of fasting are known to one and all. This saying of the doctors is famous that those who eat less live longer. Those who gorge like gluttons and fill their stomachs beyond its brim fail to give their stomach precious time to relax and thus the wealth of life diminishes quickly. In comparison to a long life they have to quickly bid adieu to this world of mortals.

 

 

 

From the health standpoint by accepting its unusual import Ayurveda scholars have exhorted mankind to ‘kill illness with balanced hunger’. By remaining hungry for an optimal length of time illnesses wither away and thus the precious life of a patient is saved. Fasting during a contagious, difficult and dire illness is also a part of the remedy (fasting must be done as per advice of efficient Ayurveda doctors). No doctor can easily cure diseases like measles, pneumonia, cholera, plague and mental aberrations without fasting and abstinence. In Naturopathy remedy for all illnesses either a total or partial fast is recommended.

 

 

 

And yet the deep import of fasting is not limited to what has been discussed in the above lines. Its many mysterious and profound aspects are such that on understanding them it is said that fasting is a straightforward and powerful Yoga practice. In the Bhagwad Geeta it is said: Vishaya vinivartante niraharasya dehinam. Thus this precept has been discussed. The Rishis after deeply cogitating over this truth have established the spiritual importance of fasting every month.

 

 

 

Within the Science of Worship wherein the Food Sheath is sanctified fasting has been accepted as a special requirement. In the body many types of shallow regions are found which are cluster of nerves. It is seen that at many places thin nerves like brain fibers stick to one another. Many a times these cluster mutually wind around in a braid like fashion akin to a thick rope. At many other places these cluster take the form of a round pillar or a knot.

 

 

 

Many a times they move like an undulating snake and at the head region many unite. In other places like a banyan tree, branches and twigs lie in a spread out manner. In this way many cluster join together to form a boundary. There is a vast difference in their color, shape and form. If research studies can be conducted a great difference will be noted in their temperature, atomic arrangement, revolution and storehouse of brilliance.

 

 

 

Up till today scientists have not been able to give any special data as far as the activities of this nerve cluster is concerned. But seers of Spiritual Science know that these clusters are knots of restrain on the Food Sheath. At death time all bonds are freed and not one cluster is visualized. ‘Indhika’ species of cluster are a symbol of restlessness, imbalance and turbulence. Wherever this cluster is in excess he/she is unable to sit quietly in one place. He/she will fiddle about and remain edgy all the time. ‘Deepik’ species of nerve cluster induce anger, bodily heat, exuberance, dryness etc. People having excess of this type of nerve cluster undergo illnesses like skin diseases, boils, pimples, acne, nose bleeding, yellow urine, burning of eyes etc.

 

 

 

People with excess ‘Bhochika’ have bodily perspiration, mucus, urine etc. There is more of loose feces and a complaint of common cold. The class of ‘Apayani’ bundles induces lethargy, excess sleep, indolence and heaviness. Such people tire fast quite easily. They cannot execute heavy mental or bodily chores.

 

 

 

The ‘Pusha’ class of bundles induces sexual excitement. The vow of continence and passion control is cut asunder. A little bit of activation of ‘Pusha’ induces mental chaos, distortion and lack of self control. Kamadeva the god of passion activated the ‘Pusha’ nerves of Lord Shiva via an aimed the Kusum arrow of sexual passion.

‘Chandrika’ species induces beauty. When in excess it induces sweet speech, passion in the eyes, attraction on the face and softness and beauty. Due to ‘Kapila’ there is sensitivity, fear, heart beats, bad dreams, anxiety, impotence etc. in ‘Gusarvi’ there is excess of bodily contraction. Boils ripen after great delay and mucus is emitted with immense difficulty. Due to excess of ‘Ushmas’ clusters, man becomes breathless. There is heat in the joints. One gets angry very quickly. One acts in haste. Blood circulates speedily and breathing too becomes very swift.

 

 

 

 

 

‘Amaya’ bundles are symbols of steadfastness, strength, hardness, seriousness etc. In such bodies there is no effect of external medical therapy. No medicine works. They remain ill for a certain length of time and are cured by their own will power. No unwholesome food can make them ill but when they do fall ill, even control of food intake or religious vows have no effect.

 

 

 

Many a time medical aid does not cure diseases. Because of the presence of these bundles the subtle condition of this body becomes such that cures or therapies do not work. Due to the activation of the ‘Udgitha’ bundles one cannot conceive children. In whichever male or female these bundles are active they cannot procreate even if they are otherwise healthy. In whichever male or female ‘Asita’ is in excess they will produce a child of their own gender. Women with excess ‘Asita’ produce females and men produce males.

 

 

 

‘Yukta Hisra’ bundles induce cruelty, wickedness and a sentiment of sadistically hurting others. Such people despite being financially well off walk on the path of falsehood and arrogance. Without any rhyme or reason they act with hatred and jealousy and attack others for no fault of theirs. ‘Hinsra’ bundles induce unruliness and chaos. Such people can be masochists too because they are even known to break their own heads, commit suicide, hit their own children badly and execute many demeaning acts.

 

 

 

Thus in Yoga literature one finds a description of 16 subtle nerve bundles or Upathikas. These bundles are such that they obstruct ones desired personality. Man desires that he moulds his personality in a certain manner and thus works towards that end by many a time he fails because within these nerve bundles such activities take place which do not allow external efforts to succeed and man thus experiences failure again and again in a helpless fashion.

 

 

 

Taste buds have a close bond with correction, moderation and balance of these Upathikas. In Yoga practices fasting is very scientific. At certain times in certain months at certain auspicious moments certain type of fasts give certain type of results. Such ordinances are found in various scriptures. According to the season prevalent the six fires of the body increase or decrease as the case may be. The 6 fires viz. Ushma, Bahuvrucha, Hvadi, Rehina, Atpata, Vyati are active in 6 seasons right from summer to spring. All their characteristics vary.

 

 

 

One, the hemisphere condition of summer solstice and winter solstice, two, the increasing/decreasing Kalas of the moon, three, the influence of stars on our earth and four, the path of the sun’s partial rays are all connected to the bodily seasonal fires, certain results are noted. Keeping this scientific fact in mind great Rishis demarcated such holy festivals in which if fasting is undergone in a certain manner corresponding beneficial results accrue. Fasting on the 4^th day of the month of Kartik also called ‘Karva Chautha’ augments love between husband and wife. This is because on this day the mixed result of hemisphere condition, moon’s Kalas, influence of the stars and the solar path is such that along with an association with the bodily fire and mental state become so conducive that it helps ones marital bond to strengthen and attain bliss. In the same way there are other vows/Vratas and fasts which help fulfill many needs and desires and also aids in staving off undesirable repercussions.

 

 

 

The scholars of fasting vows have classified them in 5 ways: Pachak (digestion), Shodhak (sanctifier), Shamak (sense control), Anas and Pavak (fire related). Pachak fast is that which helps in proper digestion of food. Shodhak fast is that which helps in curing diseases by remaining hungry. Shamak fast is that which helps in curing bad thinking, psychic distortion, bad mental activities, distorted Upathika bundles. Anas fast are that in which for special reasons one attracts Divine Powers to oneself. Pavak fasts are those that help in atoning for ones sins. What is the state of an aspirant’s Food Sheath? Which of his/her Upathikas are distorted? Which instigated center requires calming down? Which sensitive part needs activation? Seeing all this, a decision should be taken as to which person should take up what type of a fast.

 

 

 

In Pachak fast food should not be taken till there is intense hunger. Giving up one meal or one whole day’s meals or two day’s meals, leads to constipation. In order to aid apt Pachak fast it is useful to take lime juice, water and digestion aiding medicines. Along with Shodhan fast one should take proper rest. These all continue until the patient overcomes the time span of danger. In such fasts the only recourse is water drunk that is cooled after boiling.

Shamak fasts allow the intake of thin fluid like materials for example milk, butter milk, fruit juice etc. In such fasts one should do some soul searching or self introspection, stay in a secluded place, observe silence or Mauna, chant Mantras (Japa) and deeply meditate. In Anas fasting one should yearn for desirable Divine Powers via solar rays. In the sun’s 7 colored rays one finds the rays of all planets apart from Rahu and Ketu. In the sun one finds radiance, heat and bile. The moon is cool, peace giving, luminous and giver of glory. Mars is harsh, mighty and helpful. Mercury is serene, disciplined, beautiful, attractive and full of phlegm. Jupiter is the deity of wisdom, intellect, wealth, subtle sightedness, good governance, justice etc. Venus has air, it is unsteady, creator and diplomatic. Saturn induces steadiness, gives objects of pleasure, steadfastness and is a symbol of nourishment. Which ever character one desires accordingly that Divine Power should be attracted by fasting on that particular day of the week.

 

 

 

Pavak fasting is generally undergone for atonement purposes. They should be done by par taking only boiled water. For ones errors one should pray to Almighty God with a pure heart and vow never to err again. For ones mistakes, fortitude and good actions one should donate so much wealth that can convert the agony of sin into joy of pure deeds. The examples of Pavak fasting are Chandrayana Vrata and Kacha Chandrayana Vrata.

 

 

 

The worship of the purification, purgation and utility of the Upathikas and the 5 fasts along with their elements are present in the solar vow on Sunday. On that day the mixed powers of all planets touch our earth which is useful for various goals. On Sunday after bathing wear clean clothes and sit in front of the rising sun. After seeing Sun God once with eyes open, shut your eyes after that, meditate on Savita’s radiance and chant the Gayatri Mantra 1000 times. While chanting, think thus that we are “bathing in the mass of effulgence of the ocean like sun which pervades in all directions”. By meditating in this manner the soulful Savita rays activate and awaken the divine consciousness of the Sadhak or spiritual aspirant. The Upathikas get transformed when solar heat touches ones face externally and then subtle rays are imbibed in the soul via deep solar meditation.

 

 

 

After Japa (Mantra chanting) and meditation it is advisable to perform a Havan (fire sacrifice/ritual). By performing a Havan the heat of Japa and meditation cools down. Fasting on Sundays is equivalent to deep Yoga worship. Continuous fasting for 12 Sundays induces desired changes in an aspirant who has a first hand experience of it. Continuous fasting vow of 12 Sundays involves the presence of the extraordinary science of the worship of 12 Adityas (demigod of eye sight).

 

 

 

With reference to this an aspirant is himself/herself a proof of this experience. On this day one should make added use of white and yellow colored objects. Clothes worn too should be white or yellow in color. White clothes are worn as symbols of white sacrosanct light with 7 rays and yellow colored clothes represent sun and Mercury. It is best not to eat anything until noon. After noon one can par take water, liquids and fruit juices. After sunset it is apt that one avoids any food intake. Sun is the deity of austerities and penance. As a result the aspirant experiences purity, mental alertness and divine radiance.

THE METHODOLOGY OF SUPER POWER GAYATRI YAJNA WAY OF LIVING

Offering fragrant materials to Yajna fire signifies the fact, that no longer shall our inner goodwill and sacred thinking remain dormant/latent. We must light them up divinely and thus make them radiant. Instead of allowing it to dwell in a limited manner it should be made widespread/omnipresent.

 

Gigantic amounts of Havan materials can be found in storehouses. It can give us no merit. May be the hoarder gets minor financial benefits and yet the lay public will benefit only this hoarded material is shared with society. Every human being possesses some special talent and if he/she so wishes the same can be used to help others attain them. Such help can augment peace and joy in the entire world. It is a mighty Yajna act of righteousness when valiantly one tries to burn to naught ones mental taints and distortions. Twigs and branches of trees lying scattered here and there are of no use unless and until they are collected and offered to fire to render it more brilliant and potent. If you give a chance to a lit stick of wood it can set ablaze an entire jungle and thus cleanse miles and miles of forest area. Fire can cook so many items and the importance of cooked food is more than its raw counterpart especially grains etc. The results of heating, cooking etc using fire element are limitless. But these benefits accrue only when fire is given ample fuel to set it ablaze. Keeping this analogy in mind if we human beings offer our scattered wayward habits in the fire of greatness a radiant Fire God manifests and the aim of Yajna thus gets fulfilled. Yajna gives us heaven. This is indeed an open secret. Everyone is most welcome to directly experience and visualize it. When a tiny seed in the tradition of Yajna living sacrifices its tiny existence the result is manifestation of a gigantic tree. This tree stands testimony to the self sacrifice (Yajna) and glory of the tiny seemingly negligibly important seed. Anyone can see after cutting asunder the limits of selfishness so as to enter the abode of cosmic consciousness that how much more a person who does not hoards anything attains in comparison to a rank hoarder? Water molecules that yearn to reach great heights conjoin to fire/heat and give up their heaviness so as to be rendered feather weight. The more one is light in weight the more one rises upwards. Dirty water is known to rise along with wind upwardly yet if it wishes to renounce the dirt so as to become light in weight it must contact heat, shed its limiting form so as to enter a gigantically widespread area. This verily is the spiritual aspect of Yajnas. If we valiantly dare to endure/forbear heat of this material world we will become light (egoless) and hence we can sail in the gigantic sky of cosmic consciousness. Thus even a previously miniscule stature individual will now be called great or super man. It encompasses obstruction of all those vile mental activities which disallow human consciousness to rise to great heights. In its place we desire that our outstanding thinking be conjoined to great pious activities for world welfare. On the face of it, it seems as though our life is directed by our needs, circumstances faced and results of our actions. When circumstances are desirable we are happy and when they become undesirable we cry and wail aloud in grief. Based on this belief we amass material means so as to create desirable situations. Almost everyone the world over indulges in this thinking he/she will reap success and joy.

 

Despite this virtually universal belief if one dives deep into it the truth that emerges is totally different. No doubt human consciousness is influenced by external attractions and pressures yet it is in no way absolutely dependent on it. This is because even if desirable objects and circumstances do not come ones way yet it is quite possible that on the basis of inner greatness i.e. with the help of a high stature viewpoint ordinary or even very difficult circumstances can be faced with a calm serene smile. Not only this but even in the midst of dire situations which are full of obstacles one can advance both materially and spiritually in life that too in a big way. There are examples of people reveling in the most wholesome situations and yet they lead miserable lives. Thus it is crystal clear that circumstances in a certain sense are not to be blamed and that ones downfall or advancement is directly related to ones mental state.

 

It is certainly not necessary that our mental state progresses only if desirable means are at our disposal. This is because obstacles faced by us can nourish our psyche very wholesomely. In fact the stark reality is that untoward/dire situations give man a golden opportunity to augment our daring, zest and zeal. Thus initially on the face of it they seem to be insurmountable obstacles but ultimately they are our true friends since they help us advance a great deal in life. At this point we must ignore the outlook of ignorant people. When compared to them wise people will easily imbibe the fact that the human psyche/mind is an independent and self regulatory energy. With the help of exalted thinking it can independently progress a lot and thus reach the pinnacle of human glory. External wholesome situations are like fragrance added to gold. And yet even if there is a total lack of it yet no harm comes in the way of our soul advancement. If and when the infinite storehouse of our mental potential is awakened man can perform tasks termed ‘miraculous’ by laymen. It is akin to getting a boon from Gods and Goddesses.

 

The belief that man can be influenced merely by material means is widespread everywhere. Hence the world over it is seen that people run madly after amassing wealth and material comforts (house, TV, computer, AC etc). Rare are those who clearly understand the true reality of human life. They give more importance to the advancement of their psyche and have deep faith that it is high thinking that manifests intense/potent energy in their soul. When the thought flow i.e. its viewpoint is transformed positively ones personality changes for the better phenomenally. When you positively change your psyche your external circumstances are bound to follow suit with relative ease and speed. It is not in man’s hands to change external situations per se but yes our mental state certainly can be changed by us. A positive psychic transformation manifests intense joy and a very easy path is laid down by it for man to ascend the peaks of both material and spiritual success.

 

Very briefly put materialism involves influencing of the psyche via external circumstances. On the other hand spiritualism involves changing ones mental state so as to change external circumstances. By itself none of these can be ignored yet depending on what is more important to an individual that ideology will be adhered to. Today the Philosophy of Materialism has ensnared the mindset of virtually entire world humanity. As a result virtually no one feels it is important to raise ones mental state.

 

Thus today our task is well designed. In that those spiritual tenets that make man’s thinking powerful and great should be placed before world humanity with a ‘new packaging’. This new packaging is definitely required because if the basis changes its application and designing too requires a face lift. In ancient times faith was given a lot of importance and was well imbibed too. Hence if scriptural proof, speech of great thinkers, advice of preceptors/Gurus, true traditions etc. were put forth there then remained no need of any other proof, witness etc. Thus with deep faith an individual’s psychic state advanced greatly. But today faith or theism is a virtual taboo. Intellectualism of contemporary times has made progress phenomenally. Hence at every step intellectuals demand proof, logic, rationality etc before accepting any tenet or principle. In a certain sense mere faith has no value for them. Similarly the miraculous attainments of Modern Science has further emphasized on proof, logic etc. Hence when ever any important principle is discussed it is accepted only if it is proved to be true scientifically. The situation is strange. The horse of Spiritual Philosophy was trotting along merrily for a great length of time but since unwholesome elements have made an entry in its realm, a face lift is the need of the hour. Even if faith is accepted in certain quarters its car will move ahead with the help of its wheels viz. intellectualism and scientific analysis but certainly not scriptures and traditional culture. One can say that now perforce Spiritual Science will have to be put forth with a new scientific basis. This task is as difficult as assigning a new basis to materialism. Thus both tasks will have to be taken up simultaneously. If we make efforts to assign greater importance to nourishment of ones thinking in comparison to amassing material comforts it is akin to reversing the very thought flow of this modern era of information technology. Keeping in mind the gigantic nature of our endeavor it seems as though somewhere down the line we are trying to re-create this world. Thus the entire thought arena of the world will have to be churned thoroughly. In ancient Indian Mythology (Puranas) there is the episode of Samudra Manthan or the churning of the ocean. In that great men had dared to churn the entire ocean. Although as a result of it precious jewels emerged yet before that a great transformation had to be undergone. Initially Halahal poison came out and after that wine. Poison kills us whereas wine intoxicates us. It is only when both were removed that Samudra Manthan continued further. Ultimately after intense efforts precious jewels emerged from the churned ocean.

 

Today’s Samudra Manthan will involve neo creation of world human thought flow. If these efforts succeed a dual benefit will be witnessed by all and sundry. Today’s Halahal or poison is man’s egoistic/selfish behavior narrow-minded thinking unwholesome desires and the attitude of eat, drink and be merry. This is the root cause of man leading a beastly life full of ghastly actions when in reality there lies potential in him to lead a life of great Rishis, saints etc of yore. Varuni is that which mocks farsightedness and generosity and instead revels in the ocean of psychic taints (Kusanskaras). Hence our very first goal is to overcome these two vile qualities from the human psyche. This is no doubt a formidable task i.e. difficult but not impossible.

 

Similarly after warding off taints the ‘empty space’ must be filled up immediately by principles that encourage great thinking. This dual task is like fighting 2 wars one at the same time. This war is as long as our world. It is as gigantic as a mob of 0.4 billion human beings. Very briefly put it certainly is not an overstatement if we say that it is the total transformation of the subtle world of consciousness. Our Thought Revolution Movement is not a small time endeavor like removal of social evils, removal of blind traditions etc. Assuming this were the case that area could have been positively transformed via a small group of social reformers. But the fact is that our task is more deep, subtle, gigantic and extremely important.

 

Apart from this a bigger challenge stares wide eyed in our face. In that it cannot be executed by a lone valiant warrior however powerful he/she maybe. Instead great thinkers full of world well being is most required. No doubt thinkers abound in our world and with a good amount of cash they can be ‘bought’ too. They can execute tasks that are apt or otherwise. And yet for our mission not only will they be of no use but will be difficult for us to employ. Sharp thinking is priceless and where does one have the ‘money’ to buy it? And if it is devoid of faith it cannot delve deep into our mission’s research endeavor. He who is devoid of faith can argue superficially like a lawyer but ultimately his/her logic will prove to be like an empty vessel. It will neither manifest life nor a potent influential power. This type of research full of lameness, blurred vision etc can prove to be useful very minutely and yet it has no place in our gigantic mission which aims at in depth scientific research.

 

Thinking or mental reflection has 2 aspects viz. intellect and sacred sentiments (Bhava). The arena of the intellect is our brain and that of our sentiments is our bosom/heart. When we say ‘heart’ it is not the anatomical bag that circulates our blood. Instead it is that sensitive area of our inner consciousness wherein an admixture of our aspirations and desires go on to form our psyche. It is the polar region, fount and navel of ones inner personality. This sensitive focal point can tell us whether man is gentlemanly or vile in nature. From here emanate sacred vibrations that induce man to go about working not only for his well being but the world at large. The utility of ones intellect is limited to understanding various tenets and principles. It is generally weighed on the basis of how much material benefits have been amassed. Hence the intellect always is tilted towards amassing of material comforts etc. And yet if one wishes to imbibe greatness in ones life one will have to control ones attraction for material based pursuits along with their enjoyment. This decision is not in the hands of the psyche and that only our Bhava or sacred sentiments can do the needful. The new era will hence be neo created on the firm foundation stone of human sacred sentiments. In spiritual parlance it is called Bhakti or devotion to divinity in any form. Bhakti means sacred sentiments that coax mankind to aspire for greater heights both materially and spiritually. It is said to be synonymous with Shradha or deep faith. If we desire that people imbibe a sense of sacrifice/renunciation, religious vows for self control and austerities for reaching spiritual peaks they must be egged on to follow the Path of Bhakti or Devotion.

 

History is witness to the fact that it was simply on the basis of our sacred emotions that man’s psyche was molded aptly. Man was thus given a wholesome path of living a life of world well being wherein all the dire obstacles faced by him were overcome calmly and with a serene smile. Of course it is not as though Rishis, great men, saints etc lack an intellect yet their consciousness is taken over by sacred sentimental vibrations/Bhava. If this were not the case they too would have utilized their wily intellect to amass material wealth and comforts. It has been seen time and again that less educated and poverty stricken individuals too have become spiritual kings at some point in time of their lives. The reason being that their inner inspiration to pursue sacred ideals, ethics etc helped them overcome innumerable obstacles and with the help of their sacred sentiments they became prime examples of renunciation and sacrifice for a supreme cause. It is a very important step in this New Age to radiate ones sacred sentiments and augment our devotional principle by leaps and bounds. We will most definitely have to take recourse to the cultural tradition and heritage of both religion and spirituality for our supreme goal of Era Transformation. Instead if one ignores this only to lean on intellectual wiliness people will superficially understand things but will never aspire for true greatness. Of course lip service in the form of superficial eulogies will be heard everywhere but will never help our goal of Era Transformation.

 

Generally atheistic intellectualism ultimately veers towards hard heartedness and unruliness. When we cast a glance at so called ‘intellectuals’ it is crystal clear that on the one hand they are adept, skillful etc and yet they fail to establish sacred ideals and human values in society. The intellectual class of writers, poets, lawyers, political leaders, artists etc no doubt is small in number yet if their intellectual brilliance had been based in actions meant for world welfare it could have by now transformed the entire world positively. But alas the situation is quite hopeless as of now. Brilliant people the world over are busy swelling their bank balances. Many among them no doubt talk of ideals, values etc but know for sure it is mere lip service. In the garb of ideals etc they are out to amass wealth, name and fame only for their petty selves. And hence one can safely conclude that their contribution to world society is not even equal to that made by an honest laborer, clerk of the lowest rung, humble farmer or servant working in a household. The bare fact is that directionless and hence a wayward intellectual class has done more harm to the world than given any benefits.

 

Our respected readers should understand that the above observations have certainly not been made to rant and rave against the power of the intellect. Instead the idea is to conjoin sacred sentiments/Bhava to a brilliant intellect. This indeed is the reawakening and reformation of Bhakti Tattva or the devotional element of our soul. This verily is Amrit or Soma Rasa (divine immortal nectar). Many are making efforts to augment ones IQ. Now what they need to do is to induce great thinking in ones psyche and augment sacred sentiments. The research focus of Brahmavarchas indeed is this. Keeping in mind the all round uplifting of world creatures this endeavor certainly should be lauded and eulogized.

How gigantic and widespread is the task taken up by the Brahmavarchas Research Institute? This answer can be given only if we realize that light will have to be thrown on thousands of activities and situations that influence in thousands of ways, thousands of classes of world humanity, numbering up to about 40 billion. Vile instincts and beliefs that enhance beastly behavior did not establish itself in one day. This is because after Satyuga or Golden Age vileness in order to firmly establish itself in the human psyche put forth very alluring arguments, logic, examples and proof. It was only after ‘great’ efforts by these that people thought it to be ‘beneficial’ and gleefully imbibed psychic taints. By itself a mountain of dirt and waste matter can be burnt to ashes using a very tiny spark of fire. And yet this is not how it is disposed off. Instead certain very well defined means are used to dispose off waste matter. The same holds true for destroying taints in world human psyche. The field of thought revolution is so vast and gigantic that a very apt change needs to come in vogue as far as every belief, every tradition/culture, every mental inclination and type of personality is concerned. This is an all world revolution. Over here ‘all’ means every form of thinking. The function of consciousness as also its character is thinking. It is the fount of ones capability. Circumstances are but its consequence. To the extent world human psyche is purified to that extent world problems will be solved and wholesome situations will be ours for the asking. No doubt if we wish to herald a bright future in the 21^st century material comforts/gains too are required and yet never should we ignore the prime importance of nourishing our psyche with elevated thinking and run madly after material pursuits know for sure that our dream of human advancement and world peace will never be realized. Thus the fundamental tenet of neo creation is one viz. to elevate man’s thinking in a positive manner wherein human beings belonging to various strata of society benefit equally. Doubtlessly this is a gigantic task. The prime need therefore is that thinking which oozes with goodwill for all world beings without exception. Our research endeavor will succeed only when all this will be done in totality.

Hence our movement against mental taints should leave no room for the ‘enemy’ to find even one chink in our armor. Our fort should be so secure that not an iota of a chance is given to the enemy (like white ants) to destroy our sacred mission.

 

Brahmavarchas’ research method: When the designing of the first leg of research is firmly laid down the subsequent steps will follow suit. One by one all those aspects will be covered which are as of now glanced at very minimally. In these paragraphs it is not possible to elucidate its classification too. In a nutshell we can say that research has commenced and an entire generation of humanity goes by will it end. For this innumerable gifted thinkers will be required but to give their exact number is difficult. This bridge is so gigantic that hoards of people will be required to build it in an atmosphere of camaraderie and cooperation. Because the means are many, the task will be completed with greater speed. And yet we cannot underestimate the contribution of anyone because for example a tiny ant slowly but surely can scale a mountain peak too.

These days (this was written before 1990 A.D.) around 2 dozen people who are post graduates and specialists of law, medicine, philosophy, literature and modern science have enlisted themselves as research members. Although the task has commenced if we keep in mind the gigantic nature of the task and the speed required to complete it fruitfully it is clear that the number of our present team members is quite less. A much more widespread and in depth research skill is required so that the first leg is completed in a befitting manner which in turn would enhance our enthusiasm to take up the next leg of research with more fervor.

 

For our present research studies a voluntary thinking set of people are required whose eyes are not rooted on how much they will be paid for their hard work. It is not possible to pay exorbitant fees to gifted thinkers since this is a very gigantic sacred task. Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi etc carried out their gigantic tasks with the aid of so many volunteers and helpers. It would be rare to find even one amongst these volunteers who were ‘bought’ with money. In fact they did not have the means even to ‘buy’ these helpers. The same will happen with the vast number of research members volunteering to execute the mighty task of Thought Revolution in the world. Those who deem themselves fit for our task should understand that it is difficult for them to be paid for their hard work. Hence over here we request and invite those who have no financial constraint to become our members since we repeat again that we cannot pay them as such. These members could be of 2 classes: 1) whose family will look after their requirements while they are conducting research for us 2) who do not have to send cash to their family and can make do with their daily expenses on their own. Of course the Mission will look after their lodging/boarding needs aptly. But beyond that the Mission cannot help them with more financial aid.

 

The above observations are reserved only for those research members who by giving all their time to research will reside full time at our Brahmavarchas Research Institute. Apart from them a great number of such volunteers are required who will come and reside at our institute minimum for 2 months at a stretch every year. An alternative to this will be residing at their homes and working for 2 hours daily (more not less) for our Mission. They can visit nearby libraries and collect literature on the subjects assigned to them by us. If the library etc loans them this literature they can operate from their homes, collect important matter and send it to us on a regular basis. Mahakal (Cosmic Time) has decided to fight dire situations and induce zest in the human psyche for Neo Creation. This flow is seen in the form of cosmic consciousness radiating at a stormy pace. It first influences awakened souls. It is like the first rays of sunrise falling on high mountain peaks. When we heat milk its ‘sticky’ aspect appears as a layer of cream at the top. ALMIGHTY GOD IS A BLAZING FIRE AND THE SOUL IS A SPARK

 

Almighty God is that conscious power which pervades the gigantic cosmos bothinternally and externally. Apart from his other innumerable activities God is responsible for the smooth functioning of cosmic activities. Only God can conjoin the inert material nature with consciousness in the human body and other creatures. Thus came into being Prakriti (inert nature) and Purusha (conscious power). This world is nothing but a combination of matter and conscious energy. Our desires, yearnings, aspirations etc are limited within the periphery of this world. Our intellect has been designed in such a way that it can think and make apt conclusions only within the limits of the known and yet undiscovered aspect of the world.

 

 

 

On the basis of modern scientific research, only a small portion of the mysteries of material nature have been unraveled. Hence in comparison to what yet remains to be discovered whatever has been unraveled is very infinitesimal. Today the discovery of atomic energy is said to be a great scientific achievement and yet great scientists of the world opine that the more science dives deep into the subtle nature of the world even greater amazing mysteries can unfold. In comparison to a pile of dust the miracle of atomic energy is supreme. In the same way in comparison to atomic energy, the power inherent in the nucleus of an atom is that much more manifold. If the atom is the solar system its nucleus is the blazing sun at its centre. All the planets of the solar system depend on the sun for light and energy. Lest the sun gets destroyed the entire solar system will collapse. One will never know where and how it petered away to naught. A scientific intellect will indeed be wonder struck to note how powerful the nucleus of the atom is and its method of directing atomic movements. There is a great possibility of an even more powerful energy existing in the cave of the atomic nucleus and that even deeper than that an even more intense power is present. Today topics like ‘anti-universe’ and ‘anti-atom’ are being discussed animatedly all over the world. It is believed that bang opposite to our world lies another magical world which is very close to it. This unknown world is becoming so powerful which can be compared to the soul force of ones body. Just in case one unfolds the mystery of the anti-universe and anti-atom and gains mastery over it only then can man (who claims to be supreme amongst all living beings of the world) truly proclaim that he is the master of the world.

 

 

 

So far we have dealt with the aspect of subtleness. We will fail immensely in even partially dealing with the topic of the vast gross world. The stars seen by our eyes lie at a distance of millions of light years away from us. Light travels with a speed of 186000 miles/sec. It means that 1 light year is equal to the distance traveled in 1 year. Imagine how many miles are covered in millions of light years. Of course this startling information is restricted to merely those stars seen by the limited human eye sight. Thus it is beyond our grasp to calculate the distance between our planet Earth and those infinite stars that cannot be seen by the frail human eye. It is said that our galaxy itself has 1 arab suns. Amongst these many are n-times more gigantic than the sun of our own solar system. Just like our galaxy there are billions of other galaxies present in the cosmos. Hence it is crystal clear how virtually impossible is it for the frail human intellect to imagine the vast expanse of the gigantic cosmos.

 

 

 

Even the very imagination of the subtle nature of the atom and the depth and height of this gigantic cosmos’ gross form can only amaze us no end. As of now even the findings available as far as gross material nature of our planet is concerned are very little and hence it is clear that a lot more needs to be known in the realm of the atomic and chemical structure of other stars, planets, galaxies etc along with their climates, atmospheric conditions etc. The overall structure and conditions of each of these planets etc is vastly different. In order to unearth a few scientific discoveries and then make practical use of the same, many years of scientific research had to be executed. Hence the million dollar question asked is: What will be the total time taken and the amount of hard work required to unfold the mysteries of infinite stars, galaxies etc present in this infinite cosmos? Is it really possible for man’s limited intellect to unravel these mysteries in totality?

 

 

 

So far we have talked about the gross and subtle nature of the world. The direction of the flow of consciousness which is at work in the deep recesses of the world is even more amazing. There are such amazing differences as far as the form and inner nature of all living beings is concerned. Each species have their own expectations and methods of fulfilling their needs. If you compare the thinking, likings, food habits, procreation methods, efforts, social behavior etc of fish in comparison to human beings a great disparity is seen. Further within the fish clan there are many more varieties of classes and sub-classes. Each class has their own typical anatomical, physiological and psychological structure. Ere fishes possessed the intellect of human beings they too would have unearthed the anatomical, physiological etc data of each of its varieties and this data could be at par with that achieved by modern scientific data of present times. Over here the subject of our discussion is not limited to the fish family only. There are millions of water based creatures who have different life styles. Moving on to terrestrial and other creatures one can easily see vast differences in anatomy, physiology etc of birds, elephants, butterflies etc. All of them differ from one another as far as their procreation, eating, thinking etc is concerned. There is very little common between the nature of a tiger and a hare and in fact their way of life, eating habits etc are very much different from one another. If one is amazed to note all the above innumerable differences between various creatures of the world one will be even more wonderstruck on realizing how their substratum i.e. consciousness harbors these differences within it. It goes without saying that this is the divine play (Lila) of that all pervasive divine power whom we call God in layman’s parlance.

 

 

 

The world of subtle forms of life is even more mysterious. Creatures invisible to the human eye fly in air or swim in water. They pervade the very dust of earth and are also present as bacteria, viruses etc in the body. The analysis of these bacteria etc are dragging scientific research in various directions. Anatomists, doctors etc all over the world are at a loss while trying to find ways of overcoming this ‘army’ of brave germs? The culprit that induces malaria i.e. the mosquito remains invincible despite devouring large amounts of DDT. Thus the question asked is how far will we succeed in vanquishing other smaller germs like bacteria, viruses etc in totality that are causes of grave diseases like AIDS, bird flu etc? We can somehow find a way to defeat an army which welds weapons. But it is a totally different story when it comes to finding ways of overpowering a plethora of deadly germs which changes in form like the skin color of a chameleon. These subtle life forms have their own world. Even if one of them is given the capacity to depict the history of their species and its way of living man will humbly realize that in comparison to their (bacteria etc) world his own world is tiny and less advanced in a certain sense.

 

 

 

Today the science of the principles of chemical substances, molecules etc is creating its own kind of problems and debates. In every nook and corner of the world one can find an area which can be subjected to scientific research. No doubt man can take pride in all scientific discoveries/inventions that have been attained so far and yet we must realize that so much more remains yet a mystery that as of now it seems as though it is well nigh impossible to solve all scientific mysteries of the world. Man will realize his intellectual limitations when he will move on from analyzing the gross material world to the subtle and invisible world of consciousness.

 

 

 

The above lines give a small glimpse of the nature of inert matter and structural make up various creatures of the world. It says that the material world of animate and inanimate beings is so vast that it is virtually impossible to understand it fully by the limited human brain. Thus the grandeur of our world too can be called unimaginable, beyond our ken etc. Hence it is clear that even via modern scientific techniques God’s nature, aim and activity cannot be defined or understood. This is because cosmic consciousness or God is present not only subtly in every pore of the cosmos but that he exists in the external world too. In God’s eyes this vast cosmos is merely a castle of sand built by him playfully for sheer enjoyment and bliss.

SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES OF GAYATRI MANTRA CHANTING

 Immanuel Kant was a very great German philosopher. He has written many priceless books on philosophy. In one book at the very end (gist) he wrote: I fear 2 things in this world. The first is that every night when I gaze at the vast dark sky I wonder how omnipotent that cosmic power is who created these innumerable stars, galaxies, planets etc. In fact one can never even imagine with our limited intellects as to how all these were designed and created. When I compare my (Kant) frail intellect with that of the omnipotence of the one who created this gigantic cosmos I feel so inferior in size and thus am full of fear. The second fear factor of mine encompasses around the fact that when I perform some action which is unwholesome I hear a voice in my conscience telling me to refrain from acting undesirably. This inner voice is so potent that it virtually ‘bosses’ over me. When I seriously ponder over this fact I realize that my inner voice is so much more powerful than my frail intellect. Kant writes that he fears both the above facts mentioned and concludes that the omnipotent one who has created this cosmos and the one who speaks clearly in my conscience are one and the same. But since I fail to find any scientific proof of this and also since my intellect fails to accept what I say I too ultimately do not accept this fact. Most definitely Kant could not accept this truth because the frail human intellect can only argue and counter argue. It is only the subtle experience that can deepen our faith and make it unswerving. Indian Rishis of yore laid emphasis on deep subtle experiences rather than inference. That reality which Kant renounced because it was mere inference for his intellect had been experienced directly by Rishis of India eons back. Gayatri Mantra has bestowed this divine experience to millions of devotees in the world history. This becomes very clear when we dive deep into the meaning of Gayatri Mantra. Bhuha, Bhuvaha, Savaha correspond to earth, interstellar space and other world (Dhruva Loka) and they are created by God who is Om manifest (divine sound). We all meditate on its divine light. Why do we meditate? How are we related to it? The answer is because it is “Dheeyo Yona Prachodayaat”. Meaning it divinely inspires our intellect/brain. Therefore that cosmic principle which creates this cosmos is also the divine inspirer of our intellect. There is not even an iota of a difference as far as both these Divine Powers are concerned. That divine truth which was an inference for Kant was an experiential truth for Rishis who are the seers (Dhrishtaa) of the Gayatri Mantra.

If one reflect more seriously on Gayatri Mantra’s meaning 3 precepts emerge. 1) “Saviturvaraynyam Bharga”-that radiant divine light is worth aspiring for and is a power that destroys our sins (God principle). 2) “Dheeyo Yonaha”-the intellectual principle of a living being or Jeeva. 3) “Prachodayaat”-The inspiring relationship that unites God and ones intellectual power. One is the centre of the entire cosmos (God-macro) and the other is the centre of individual life (living being-micro). The third is that principle (Prachodayaat) that unites God and a living being. Gayatri Mantra is that Divine Power which destroys man’s lowly state from its very roots, it washes of all our taints and sins and after overcoming all satanic principles in man’s psyche it replaces them with divine principles in full flow. Even criminals, dacoits and other individuals of lowly thinking hear a voice within to abstain from performing heinous acts. The voice clearly tells them that not only will society be harmed by their dastardly act but that they themselves (criminals etc) will be harmed n-fold more. Hence they are advised from within to refrain from such demeaning acts. But because man is so enticed by material pleasures he refuses to listen to his inner voice and hence foolishly acts despicably. A Gayatri devotee hears this inner voice very clearly and powerfully. In the initial stages of Gayatri meditation a devotee maybe unable to act explicitly in accordance with this voice due to weak penance and yet know for sure that this devotee due to strong self introspection realizes deeply his inner lack. And this realization is a very strong and gigantic step on the ladder of reaching material and spiritual success ethically. Majority of the times people are totally unaware of their inner lack and tainted state due to the veil of spiritual ignorance and blindness. If they fail to even realize that mental taints exist how will they even think of removing them? As against this the more a devotee of Gayatri matures spiritually the more these mental taints are experienced by him/her with greater clarity. His or her focused soul constantly places these taints in a mirror like fashion in front of their mind’s eye to perceive clearly. And finally a day comes when mature Gayatri aspirants are induced by this inner divine guidance to destroy these taints from their very foundation. A very dire situation seems very tough to surmount by a layman but for a true Gayatri devotee these situations do not appear very dire or frightful. This is because Gayatri Mantra chanting reduces the experience of the gross aspect of the cosmos and augments its subtle perception in the aspirant’s pure and focused psyche. The more ones subtle perception augments the more divine energies manifest in the soul. These divine powers in turn help the devotee to fight his/her mental taints successfully and thus they are eradicated. The more ones spiritual powers manifest a day comes when man ascends from mediocrity to supreme greatness. This verily is the true goal of Gayatri devotion and meditation and can be experienced by anyone in the world provided one performs these spiritual practices whole heartedly. Due to devoted and regular Gayatri Mantra chanting a divine light manifests in ones psyche which dispels our inner spiritual darkness. Just as soap washes off the dirt on our clothes and just as a broom removes dust in our homes similarly Gayatri Mantra is that divine ‘soap’ washes off our mental taints. Gayatri is such a divine miraculous ‘broom’ that it removes all taints, shortcomings, attachments, likes, dislikes etc from the ‘room’ of our psyche. It is only when our psyche becomes sacred and taintless that God comes and eternally occupies it. Gayatri Mantra based spiritual endeavor (Sadhana) is like an invitation card which helps sanctify and focus ones mind and intellect so that God/Self Realization is attained by the devotee.

DIVINE POWERS RIDHI-AND SAVITRI ENERGY

RIDHI AND SIDHI

What is the glory, importance and results of Gayatri Super Power? This answer can be found by examining the weapons present in the hands of Gayatri’s deities. Deities (both male and female) are special flows of Gayatri Super Power.

 

One of the 24 deities of Gayatri is called Ganesha.  Ganesha or Viveka is the god of intellect.  Whenever our compassionate farsighted intellect augments, know for sure that Ganesh is present. The root of Gayatri Mantra is sacred knowledge. Ganesha is Gayatri’s leading energy stream.

 

Ganesha dwells with 2 divine female friends. One is called Ridhi and the other is Sidhi. Ridhi means spiritual glory and Sidhi means material power and wealth. Just as Gayatri and Savitri are said to be consorts of Brahmaji (creator) so too Ridhi-Sidhi are Ganesha’s consorts.  The Almighty Lord’s 2 wives are Para and Apara Prakriti. With their help all movements in this world of matter and energy take place. While deciding upon the nature of Ganesha who is discrimination, spiritual seers depicted him as having 2 wives. An intellect of discrimination (Viveka) is most required for spiritual and material progress. This principle is called Ganesha and his consorts are called Ridhi and Sidhi.

 

Ridhi means self-knowledge, soul force, soul purification, self-contentment, inner zest, self-unfoldment, good qualities and spiritual grandeur. Sidhi means skill, enthusiasm, cooperation, wealth, knowledge, power and material grandeur. All these qualities are found in Gayatri and Savitri. Both are a couple. Whenever Ridhi dwells, there lies Sidhi. Both of them fan Ganesha. A man of discrimination attains both material and spiritual wealth. This is the reason why one sees Ganesha’s photograph with his 2 wives Ridhi and Sidhi.

 

Ganesha holds a chain in one hand and Modak (sweet meat) in another hand. Chain means discipline and Modak means joy. Those who lead disciplined lives attain joy too. Ganesha gives you both Ridhi and Sidhi. Ridhi means soul glory and Sidhi means material power. When one adheres to the rules of life and thus leads a disciplined life, one becomes powerful both materially and spiritually. He faces no obstruction while procuring material comforts. Great personalities are full of laughter and joy and hence it is compared to the Modak of Ganesha. They themselves experience bliss and spread the same in the entire world. The magnetic personality of such great men attracts forces from the visible and invisible worlds. This is very much required for their own progress and joy.

 

A deep misunderstanding prevails as far as Ridhi-Sidhi is concerned. People wrongly believe Ridhi-Sidhi to be the art of performing magical acts. They wrongly correlate Ridhi-Sidhi to magical acts like man flying in air, walking on water, becoming invisible, changing forms, attracting objects towards oneself or inducing their disappearance etc. In fact all these are but superficial magical acts. It is like magicians using means like hypnotism, mesmerism etc. to perform magical shows. Their aim is just to show off their magical skills or ensnare gullible people in their trap. All this sort of vain show has been strictly prohibited by all great spiritual texts of the world. These scriptures advise us to ignore these magical power as and when they manifest in us. In short such superficial acts of magic have no connection with pure Spiritual Sciences.

True Ridhi helps a spiritual seeker attain contentment, faith and divine grace via high thinking. Thus a human being becomes divine. Such divine men positively influence the entire world and induce world humanity to imbibe sound ideals in thought, word and deed. True Sidhi lies in attaining material gains and sharing the same with the entire world. After looking after one’s own needs and those of one’s family members, the rest should be used for the material and spiritual upliftment of the world. This indeed is a true miracle. The more one marches ahead on this path, the greater he becomes and thus is called a Sidha (saint).

 

Gayatri has 2 names viz; Ridhi and Sidhi. Those who are pious in thought, word and deed attain both Ridhi and Sidhi. Thus they are glorified in the true sense. True Gayatri worship naturally results in attainment of Ridhi-Sidhi. Gayatri is a visible Sidhi. Those who imbibe Gayatri attain Ridhi (spiritual powers) and Sidhi (material powers).

SAVITRI

The Primordial Energy (Adi Shakti) has 2 streams 1) spiritual 2) material. Spiritual energy is called Gayatri and material energy is called Savitri. Gayatri has 1 face because it represents Non-duality and oneness of soul. Savitri has 5 faces. The body is made up of 5 gross elements. Its 5 sense organs experience sound, form, taste, smell and touch with the help of 5 Tanmatras (subtle element). Vibration of consciousness i.e. the 5 Pranas (Vital Forces) control our bodily movements and its presiding deity is Savitri. The subtle body is made up of 5 sheaths. In scientific terms they are called Physical Body, Astral Body, Mental Body, Causal Body and Cosmic Body. A MESSENGER OF GOD BORN IN A RURAL FAMILY

A 9-year old American girl called her mother and other family members and asked – “Come on, tell me, what will father carry with him when he comes home?”  Since the family members had no answer, they asked this girl to give the correct answer.  The girl called Jean Dixon said – “A beautiful white dog.”  At that time everyone took this answer as a joke.  Who would know what Jean Dixon’s father was buying at a place that was 10,000 miles away?

 

 

 

When Jean Dixon’s father returned home, everyone was amazed to see him bring a white dog.  At that very time when Jean Dixon spoke about the white dog, precisely at that very hour, 1000 miles away, her father was buying this white dog.  Her father agreed with what Jean had said and hence everyone was amazed as to how Jean knew about an incident occurring 1000 miles away.  There are so many facts and precepts in this world, which despite being more subtle than the subtle nature of all material objects, which can be so straightforward at the gross level that by evolving it further man can prove himself to be a living miracle.  They asked Jean about this.  Jean Dixon said – “Yes, they do exist and why not?  Our soul is that very principle.  It is all pervasive and can “see” and “hear” everything in the world.  Since our psyche is tainted we  fail to perceive the divine light of our soul.  If these taints are destroyed man can see and know himself and the future, just like a mathematical calculation.”

 

 

 

This girl called jean Dixon who attained fame in America and the entire world, made other predictions regarding important events that were to occur in the world.  By proving her predictions to be true, Jean Dixon also wanted to lay emphasis on the fact that man is just not a body made up of flesh, blood, biochemicals etc. but that he possesses divine glories which are a proof of this spiritual identity.

 

 

 

Jean Dixon had amazing skills of predicting future events in a meditative state.  A few days later a Gypsy woman gave Jean a crystal ball.  Jean Dixon henceforth used this crystal ball for making apt predictions.

At a very young age, Jean Dixon attained fame and glory.  One day a film actress full of failure and despair, approached Jean Dixon and said – “Should I continue with my acting career or open a school? Which will be of greater benefit to me?”  Jean smiled and said – “Sister, man is free to act in the way he wants.  Hard work can change the lines of destiny in one’s hands.  If you make intense efforts, you can succeed in your acting career.”  That actress called Mary Drosup was impressed by Jean’s advice.  Hence she worked very hard in her acting career and achieved a lot of success.  That day dawned when Mary Drosup became America’s leading actress.

 

 

 

A few days later another actress called Miss Lombard visited Jean Dixon.  Jean on seeing this actress said – “Miss Lombard!  If you wish to save your life, do not travel in a plane for 7 weeks.  If circumstances force you to travel, do so by car or rail.”  After 3 weeks, Miss Lombard traveled in a plane.  While high up in the air, the plane caught fire and landed with a crash on to the ground.  Miss Lombard too died in this plane crash.”

 

 

 

Jean Dixon married at the age of 21 years.  One day she stopped her husband from traveling in a plane and instead asked him to travel by train.  Her husband was well aware of Jean’s skills of predicting future events.  Just as a devoted disciple acts as per the sage advice of his preceptor, so too Jean’s husband follower his wife’s advice and thus traveled by train.  Later in the evening, news spread like wild fire that the plane in which Jean’s husband was to travel, had an accident.  Thus everyone was amazed by Jean’s foresight.  Jean’s husband whole heartedly thanked his beloved wife for saving his life.

 

 

 

Jean Dixon was once invited to a charity party at Selgrave.  President Truman was at that time the Vice President of America.  In good humour, Truman asked jean Dixon – “You are a great devotee of God.  Can you predict my future?”  Jean Dixon with a smile said – “Very shortly you will become President of America.”  In a few days Truman did become President of America and he agreed – “There is no other option but to accept that spiritual powers are more potent and capable than material powers.”  Entire America was wonderstruck with Jean’s capacity to foresee future events.  One day in the year 1944 A.D., President Roosevelt invited Jean Dixon to the White House and said – “Tell me Jean!   How long will it take for me to fulfill my tasks?”  In a serious tone Jean said – “ Mr. President!  I am sorry to say that you will not live for very long.”  Roosevelt was amused to hear this reply, yet in a few days he died.  As per Jean’s prediction Roosevelt died due to a blood clot rupture in the brain.

 

 

 

Jean Dixon firmly believed that spiritually advanced people can not only gain information about an individual, but also that of all world movements, events and activities.  Such people never flaunt this power of theirs to anyone and everyone.  As days pass by they advance more and more spiritually and they gather so much soul force that all future events become known to them.  Apart from this such great men can also change the shape of one’s future and that of world events.  All this can be done on the basis of how much spiritual power has been gathered in an individual.

 

 

 

The above observations were accepted in a meeting of diplomats.  India’s General Agent, Shri Girijashankar Bajpai arranged a lunch party.  Col. Nawabzada Sherali too attended this party along with Jean Dixon.  Sherali asked Jean Dixon – “Madam!  Can you predict my future?”  After a moment’s pause Dixon said – “Oh Yes! On 2^nd June 1947, India will be partitioned into 2 nations.  You will go to that nation in which Muslims will reside.”

On 2^nd June 1947, early in the morning, Col. Sherali telephoned Jean Dixon and said, “Your prediction was incorrect.”  Jean Dixon confidently replied “Sir!  An event can occur in a flash of a second.  The entire day yet remains to pass by.  So please wait.!”  Truly on 3^rd June 1947, leading American newspapers wrote in capital letters – “India has been partitioned into India and Pakistan”.  Alongwith it the armies too were partitioned.  This Col. Sherali was transferred into Pakistan.

 

 

 

Once in the evening in the year 1947 A.D., there was a discussion on Politics in Jean Dixon’s house.  Even Gandhiji’s name was included.  Suddenly Jean Dixon warned everybody, “It seems as though Gandhiji will be assassinated within 6 months.”  Truly on 30^th January 1948 A.D. Gandhiji was assassinated.  In the same way Jean Dixon was worried that President John Kennedy would be assassinated in 1963 A.D.  One day she visited Kennedy’s friend Heloni and said – “Please convince Kennedy to cancel all his travel plans for the next few days.”  Previously her prediction that Kennedy would become President of America in 1956 A.D. had come true.  While predicting Kennedy’s death, Jean Dixon also said that the assassinator’s name would begin with “O” and end with “D”.  Later everyone saw that Kennedy was assassinated while traveling in Texas and the assassinator’s name was Oswald.

 

 

 

Predicting future events means that we are in contact with a Divine Power.  God is omnipresent and omniscient.  The more an individual’s soul merges into the cosmic soul (God), the more one can see past and future events.  Generally people have intense faith in spiritual powers that help attain the capacity of predicting the future.  Hence one must realize deeply that if this power is misused, it can create one’s material and spiritual downfall.  If anyone uses the power of predicting future events for material name and fame, it will deplete one’s soul force and thus create our downfall.  Therefore Indian Yogic scriptures strictly forbid us to flaunt our spiritual powers attained via Yogic or other spiritual practices.  Miracles sometimes do genuinely benefit people, yet if it augments our ego, know for sure that our downfall is round the corner.  Initially Jean Dixon’s predictions generally came true but in the latter half of her life, her predictions were incorrect.  Mrs. Ruth Montgomery, writer of the history of Jean Dixon’s predictions accepts in her book “Gift of Prophecy” that 30% of Dixon’s predictions made later on proved to be false.

 

 

 

Despite this, Jean Dixon, by foretelling the future proved that man is not merely a material creature.  In fact man is predominantly spiritual and these spiritual powers can be utilized greatly for world welfare.  Many predictions made earlier on, like Russia’s space craft without an astronaut reaching interstellar space, Eisenhower wining elections, Khrushchev’s downfall, China becoming a communist country and Shastriji becoming Prime Minister after Nehru, were correct.  This proves that truly such a spiritual power exists in all human beings, which is omniscient.  Recently events predicted by Jean Dixon previously, like Republican Party wining elections in U.S.A. and China attacking Russia, came true.

 

 

 

Jean Dixon has also predicted that  changes will take place in the world.  Red China will start a Germs War and will create dire situations in the world.  Schemes of murdering leading politicians of many nations will be designed.  Interstellar journey will prove to be a great success.  People will have more faith in religion and God.  As a result their material belief will undergo a sea change.  Another prediction is – “In a certain country of Asia (may be India), a great soul will be born in a rural family.  He will begin, direct and control a Super Spiritual Revolution.  He will be helped by his aides who will transform the present distorted state of the world.”
